IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!

Today it is exaclty 1 year since my mom took out the trash and found me!!! She's given me all kinds of treats, sang Happy Birthday and dad is taking me fishing!!! It's a great day! I've heard mom talk about how she wished she knew what my real birthday is but she can't change that. So she just spoils me rotten and I like it!!!!! Yea, mom!!!!

Santa came!!!!

Well, diary, it was a fun day around here. Mom and dad let me have a gift on Christmas Eve and it was goooood!!! Then the next day Santa left me all kinds of stuff. Muffin treats, bully sticks and raw hides!!! I must have been a REALLY good girl!!! I also got an Oklahoma State University collar and leash from my mom's parents!! So now I am stylin'!!!!

Mom keeps saying she's going to take some time and try to fix and update my page but she hasn't done it yet. Maybe she'll do it soon.

Anyway, I just had to tell you about my wonderful first Christmas with my mom and dad. I heard mom talking about doing something for me on Jan. 8 cuz it will be a year from that day that I found them. Maybe I'll get more treats!!!

TOO LONG!!

Boy, diary, I am so sorry it's been so long since I've told you what's going on. Three days after Thanksgiving my parents went on their cruise and I went to the Petsmart hotel. Mom was so worried about leaving me for a week but I did really good and made a bunch of friends. I got all good scores on my report card. Mom and dad got me all day play everyday so when I came home I passed smooth out!! The people at the hotel liked me too! They hope I come back soon.

Mom and dad told me they had a blast on their cruise! Mom says if it hadn't been for me she wouldn't have gotten off the ship! She's already planning next year's cruise. So I'll be back at the hotel next year.

That's been the major news in my life lately. Mom says we are staying home for Christmas. She didn't want to drive and dad didn't want to fly so we are staying put. It finally got cold in Texas and actually feels like December!!! Mom just hopes it's cold on Christmas. The cold weather makes me even more hyper!!

New fishing pole!!!

Well diary, since I wrote last I've gotten to go to the dog park, which was fun!! Mom and dad will take me on Sundays if NASCAR isn't on or we get up early, and we don't get up early very often in this house. I don't know if I ever told you but the noisy people next door had a black lab they kept outside and we would play with each other best we could thru the fence. Mostly we would run laps up and down the fence for quite a while. Well about a week ago mom saw four women putting him in a crate in their blazer and she was worried they were getting rid of him. So she started looking at all the shelters to see if anyone had dumped a black lab that day and there was one. But mom happened to catch someone from the house outside and asked about the dog. Luckily she got one of them that knows how to speak English and found out they took him to live with family in Houston. But if they had dumped him mom and dad were going to get him.

Since the puppy is gone I'm not getting the exercise of running up and down the fence. And I kept breaking dad's fishing poles cuz I'm so big. So the other day dad came home with a BIG fishing pole and now I'm fishing again!! I love it!! Dad just needs to put bigger string on it now! I keep breaking it!!

Life is back to normal!!

Sorry it's been so long since I've written diary but alot has changed around here. The home the stray beagle was suppose to go to fell thru so my grand-parents have kept her. Apparently my grandpa is spoiling her rotten!!

It was really rough here with my mom and dad after she left. But things are back to the way they used to be and mom and dad are even getting along better than they were before!! The only thing mom thinks is strange is that dad doesn't even ask about the beagle. Hasn't asked how she's doing or anything. She wonders how he could love her so much and not be at all curious as to how she is doing.

Anyway, mom and I are by ourselves until Wednesday or later. The Air Force sent my dad on a trip. So mom is not sleeping at night cuz she's afraid to be alone. She did take me on a walk this morning before she went to the gym. I don't think I'll ever get "loose leash" walking!!

beagle is gone

Well diary, the beagle left for Tulsa yesterday. My dad is not happy at all and mom is very stressed out over it! Mom just can't figure out how dad is the only person who didn't see how much I tortured that beagle. And she told him from the first day she was here that she was going to find her a home, so he knew it was a pretty good possibility. It's not like she is going to some stranger, she's going to a lady, a friend of the family, that will make sure nothing bad happens to her. Hopefully after a few days things will get back to the way they were before mom answered the door a month ago! Let's hope so for my mom's sake.

Well diary, looks like the stray beagle is going to be leaving us this weekend. My mom's dad works with a lady who's daughter loves beagles and is going to take her. My mom's parents, who I haven't met yet, are coming down and staying tomorrow and leaving Sunday with the beagle!! My mom is sooo happy!!! She's going to get her house back with some peace and quiet!!!! But the problem is my dad! He doesn't want the beagle to leave and is giving mom a pretty hard time about it!! She's worried he's going to do or say stuff while her parents are here but if he's on his best behavior then she knows after the beagle is gone it's game on. She doubts that he'll ever get it that a 1 year old and an at least 8 year old don't mix very well. Especially when the old one has bad hips!!! And the one year old knocks her down trying to play!! But she told him from day one she was going to find this beagle a home and it wasn't going to stay here and she did!! He'll just have to get over it!!! So Sunday ought to be very interesting in our house!

Mom's losing her mind!!!!!!

Diary, I feel so sorry for my mom. This stray beagle is driving her nuts and she can't seem to find her a home!! She's 8 and I'm 1 and there is constant barking, howling, growling and then mom's yelling 24/7 and she's losing it!!! She got so fed up yesterday that she separated us and put the beagle in the bathroom, like we did when she first got here, and then there was peace and quiet!! Dad is not here so he couldn't do anything about it!! He's no help to mom either, he wants to keep the beagle so he's not helping at all with finding her a home!! I heard her talking to herself saying she was going to get more copies of her picture made tomorrow and put them up everywhere people will let her!! Mom just wants life back before almost 3 weeks ago. I've also heard her say she's never taking in another stray either!! Glad she didn't say that till after I got her wrapped around my finger!!!! Diary, if you are magical in any way, please help my mom get this beagle out of our house!! I want my happy mom back!!

BIG PROBLEM!!

Well dairy mom and dad are in a pickle!! Yesterday our neighbor brought a dog someone dumped a dog in our neighborhood to our house and we got stuck with her. Mom took it in to see if it has a chip and it doesn't. It's an old beagle that has trouble getting around. Mom and dad took her to the vet and she has arthritis, cataracts (I don't know if I spelled those right), and some parasite in her poop. Mom doesn't know what to do! She's called the only two no kill shelters and they don't answer their phones, she left messages and no one is calling her back! She's so upset and doesn't know what to!!! She says we can't keep it cuz of me and my hyperness. I tried to play with the dog yesterday and she didn't care for it and growled at me. Mom says all I want to do is play and she doesn't think I can leave her alone! I don't know how to help my mom and she's so stressed out! They are going to hang signs but it's pretty obvious no one wanted to take care of her! Hopefully someone will call my mom back and maybe this can have a happy ending!

Man oh man did I have a wonderful day the other day!! I won diary of the day and my mom was soooo happy!!! We were dancing ar0und the house together and she just kept telling me how proud she was of me!!! I got special yum yums and I got to go to the dog park and play!! People kept sending me gifts and congratulating me!! I got about 10 or more pup pal requests! It was really cool!! Mom kept calling me her star and celebrity! Mom's silly but she spoils me rotten!!! Yea, me!!
