Arrival Story: Layla was found emaciated and close to death on along a Georgia Highway. The person who found her took her to the vet, searched for her owners (in many ways) and nursed her back from the brink of death. That same person returned to college and could not have Layla in the dorms. Since we lived across the street and had dogs Layla came to visit her now brother (Jackson) and sister (Maggie. )
Bio: When we moved in the summer of 07, Layla and her siblings were boarded while the furniture was delivered and such. Layla was not at the boarding place (a real nice place) an hour before she jumped clear over a 6 foot fence , nope she did not climb, and cleared it without a problem. Layla was lost for 3 weeks. She was discovered at a kill shelter on the day she was scheduled to be put down. She had no tags, as the boarder had removed them.
