Arrival Story:
One of my sister's lost her beloved dog and decided it was time to get a puppy ... prompting my other sister to decide on a companion dog for her dog and well.. it was puppy fever ... one look and I was lost, so my 9 year old Max got a new household brother. What has been wonderful is we can reunite the "family" of puppies often and compare developmental notes and similarities, and watch them enjoy each other ~! They are all great pals

If you looked at my pictures, you'll see I have a new friend... and I absolutely LOVE him, well he loves me more than I love him, but I'm very patient. And I even give him baths, although Mom gets a little nervous when I pick his legs up to clean them! We sleep together & he rubs all over me. It was pretty scary at first, after all my house mate Skye has terrorized me since birth. He hides on the chairs and jumps out & claws my nose as I go by. Mom says when I was a puppy I broke his foot by accident playing with him, so he's justified. But hasn't he ever heard of forgive and forget ?? Jeesh! Just because he had to clomp around the house with a cast on his leg for 12 weeks. I was a BABY, just a wee little fella then. but ANYWAY ... the kids named the kitty Bandit, although Mom decided Stanley is better. He'd rather rub against ME than be held & patted by the humans. HA! So life's been more companionable, and now Mom says maybe she'll get a puppy to play with me ... off to check the back yard for new smells. I love spring!
