Quick Bio:
-purebred-pound dog

Birthday:
April 1st 1994

Likes:
I like going for walks, I really like going for car rides and going to the beach!

Pet-Peeves:
Where to begin...I don't like many other dogs, but have to tolerate my brothers and sisters; I don't like when my siblings encroach on my space; I hate cats; I don't like anyone touching my feet; I don't like going to the vet or the groomer.

Favorite Toy:
Occasionally I enjoy a good game of ball, but I don't really like to bring it back--just run after it, pick it up, drop it, kick it, run, etc.

Favorite Food:
I have a sweet tooth, and fortunately, so does my mom! I love Lemonheads and mini-Swedish Fish, but any kind of sweet will do.

Favorite Walk:
I like walking anywhere, I really like to let everyone know where I've been.

Best Tricks:
I'm not really into tricks, that's beneath me.

Arrival Story:
Mom adopted me from the Oregon Humane Society after I'd been there for going on 3 months. I was 4 years old at the time and had already lived in two other homes. No one seemed interested in keeping me as their boy forever...until mom came along. She would volunteer at the shelter and come visit me 3 times a week. I was really quiet and didn't bark for attention so no one noticed me much while I was there. One day, my mom adopted me and took me home and I finally found my forever home! 9/26/07 - Ben-Ben passed away. He was in renal failure for nearly a year and a half--he'd have good days and bad, but near the end, mainly bad days. He was euthanized at our house at the point that I saw no more good days for him. We miss him very much, but know he's running with Apple again.

Bio:
I'm very smart, but stoic and reserved. I'm quite a typical Chow in some aspects (like did I mention how much I hate cats?!), but have really become un-Chow-like in other respects (I LOVE to snuggle with my parents!). I can be sort of a grumpy old man at times, but I just like my personal bubble space, that's all. I often wish I could go more places with my parents and siblings, but they tell me other dogs will be there and I'm generally not too happy to see other dogs, so I guess that's a good thing. I do love to go to the beach, though, it is one of my favorite places!

Forums Motto:
I'm a love bug!
