Rush is blind. Rush came into rescue with his friend Star after his Mommy was told to put down the older dogs cause she had to many, this by Animal Control. Thank goodness she didn't and looked for other alternatives. Feb 10, 2011, just short of his 14th Birthday and Rush will be heading to the Rainbow Bridge today to be with his best friend Star. Run free sweet Rush boy and wear your silver harness with pride. You were an outstanding sleddog and I will miss you deeply for the rest of my life. Rush went quickly and did not fight it. I laid on the floor with him and held him and stroked him to comfort him.
