Heatmatized

Baby, it's been cold outside.
The peeps have pulled out
the fleece blankies and
flannel sheets and
layers upon layers
of heatmatizing goodness now line the bed
top and bottom. :o)

I get sammich'd in the middle
the peeps have no say whatsoever
and I am cocooned between
two warm bodies
covered in fleecy heaven.

In the mornings,
I am usually raring to go
cos I wanna eat eat eat!
but these last couple of weeks
it's been too cold to get outta bed
and the warm Ella-indentation
I've made in the bed & blankies
refuses to let me go.

So I just peep my head out
and sleepily regard the peeps
as they get ready for work.
It's only when I know
with absolute certainty
that they are headed for the kitchen
that I leap from the bed
and head towards breakfast.

The kitchen is where its at, BOL!

It is cold here, too...and freezing rain coming down the pipes next, UGH!
