Wowza, I'm six years old already
my face is getting lighter and whiter.

My daddy says it's from laying in the sun all times
but I think we all know better,
and we'll let daddy have his delusions ;o)

Last year at the vet,
they gave me a senior exam!
How rood! That's almost as bad
as being weighed out in the waiting area
in front of all the peeps, dogs, and cats!
And yes, I heard those all those
nasty kittehs snickerin' at me.

I'm still spry and play like there is no tomorrow
but when I sleep, I sleep HARD.
BOOM... out like a light. :o)

Yes! I sleep a lot more too. Except when momma wakes me up cos she wants to rub my ears or scritch mah bellay. :o) Which is quite often.

Um...I have been told that a lot of my former tan furs on my schnooter are all white, now...sigh...and growlmy says it takes longer fur me to know that yums are being made in the kitchen...but yup, I run and woof and jump like the youngest of frisky pups! BOL!
Gettng old isn't too bad...well, not yet...and hey you are only 6, I am going to be 11...sigh...

Ella, my muzzle is turning white, had my first senior exam this year (I'm 8) but my vet says I look and act like a puppy! I do sleep more and mom says I snore like a freight train! LOL

Aging can be seen on white dogs and cats also...Momma is noticing that I am beging to look "OLD". Of course with all my health and physical issues looking "OLD" is a blessing for me.
