I snarf my food down
*snarf* *snort* *snarf*
The peeps think I don't even taste my food
but that's not true...
the food is on an expressway to my bellay!
No time to stop and see the sights!

So Momma did an experiment with me today
to determine whether I truly taste my food
or whether it just goes straight down the gullet.

Equipment:
French Fries
Carrots (yuck!!!)
Cheese
Cutting Board
Knife
Ella's chompers

Method:
The crinkle cut french fries were baked then cooled. Next, the carrots were cut up into french fry type lengths / widths. Similarily this was done also with the cheese.

A multitude of french fries would be "tossed" to me at first. Then mixed in between would be the french fry shaped cheese and carrots.

Predictions:
Using the french fries as the control group, the barrage of french fries into Ella's mouth will no doubt cause anticipation of more french fries. Over time as the other variables (cheese first, then the carrots) are introduced, they too will be gulped down in the same manner as Ella will be "expecting" french fries.

Results:
Ella chomped each french fry down with gusto, then came the insertion of cheese / french fry / cheese variable. These items also went down without a fight. Next came the french fry / cheese / french fry / carrot / french fry combination. Everything went according to plan until the carrot got chomped, then spit out on the floor. Ella looked at it with great disdain before she washed the nasty taste out of her mouth with another french fry. This continued on with varying patterns, each time resulting with the carrot on the floor.

Conclusion
Ella rules!
She cannot be fooled with her discriminatory palate!

BOL! Those silly humans!!! They don't think I taste my food either! But its so good I just chomp it down! I think this was a good experiment tho! Yuckie Carrots are for bunnies not doggies!

Way to go Ella!! How can they possibly think that a gourmet like you could be tricked into eating yucky carrots. Got to admit though it was a well planned out experiment. Ella does rule!!!

Are you sure it was the taste and not the texture? Not that I'm saying you don't taste it. Just that the textur hitting the tongue would set me off.

Um...I would have snarfed down them all, indiscriminately!
I love all that stuff...If I taste them? Who knows?! BOL!

Good fun though, and an interesting 'experiment'!
