Well I have been on antibiotics for almost 4 days now and today is the last day. I am still coughing but not as badly. The vet said that it should go away on it's own but mum is wondering why it's taking so long. Mum always laughs when she gives me my tablets, I always think they're some fantastic treat and I sit eagerly waiting for them. Mum makes me shake paw so I think I'm being rewarded and i just chew them up like it was cheese, always extremely happy with myself. She's never met a dog that takes tablets so well bol.

I hope your cough goes away soon, Shandi, but it's nice that you enjoy taking the pills. A lot of dogs don't like taking them, but you don't seem to mind. I bet that helps a lot. Dear Shandi~
We're glad you're feeling better, but wish you were 100%.
Socks developed a cough out of nowhere last week (which sounded like a "dry" cough...really rough & bad sounding ) and the vet put her on some cough suppressant pills called "Tussigon" tablets which we had to give her 1/2-1 tablet every 6-8 hours depending on how bad she was coughing. By the next day the cough was lots better and now it's gone completely. Just thought you might ask your vet if something like that might help Shandi. Glad you are feeling better, hope you will be 100% soon. I like to take pills too, especially if they taste good. My mom learned from my vet how to give pills if they don't taste too good. Sometimes I can spit them out if Mom doesn't do it right, lol. Aww, we are praying you get back to normal asap!
