Ru came to me weighing just about 100 lbs and very sick. He and his sister were given up because their owners had a medical emergency and could no longer care for them. A neighbor had them surrendered to the local humane society. They came to my home about a week later. Emily eventually got adopted but Ru found a place in my heart and my home.
