I am top dog.

I may look all pretty and sweet but I am the top dog in this house-next to my Mom of course. Xena was the boss when Mom & Dad were married, but when she moved out with Dad, I became the boss dog. Then she came back when Dad moved into an apartment and tried to be boss again-fuggedaboutit! I am the boss puppy now. I have to keep her in line all the time. And she barks a lot. It is annoying. She is learning though-don't mess with me!

Gentle Leader, My Tail!

Mom got this contraption because she says I pull too much when we go on walks. It is called a "Gentle Leader" and it goes around your muzzle and neck and pulls on your head so you don't pull too much and choke yourself. I gave her a good fight when she tried to put it on-but as usual-she won. I couldn't pull very much and I was very annoyed. Mom was happy though. Maybe she will take me on more walks now.

Not eating...

I just don't feel like eating very much. I am starting to eat more. Mom says I am "blue" just like my eyes. I guess I have been a bit stressed from all the changes. And dealing with the puppy all the time is wearing even me out! I am getting used to being downstairs during the day now. I even go down with no problems in the morning because Mom gives us special treats. It's not so bad-it is a big room with carpet and windows and a fireplace. Life goes on and I am loved.

Darn puppy

Mom told us that she and Dad were "splitting" whatever that means. All I know is that stupid puppy keeps jumping the fence and since Dad isn't here during the day anymore, we have to stay inside downstairs all day while Mom is at work. We have a kennel we can go into from the doggy door, but it isn't big enough to RUN in. Poo. Now I get stuck in a room downstairs and have to watch while the puppy dumps all the food and water over all over the place. He is such a pain.

Let's Save everybody!

Yeah! Mom & Dad are going to try and find homes for lots of puppies like me, Bruno & Sierra! Maybe they will come visit so I can play, play, play. Some of them may be sad though, so I will try to cheer them up. Mom & Dad say they need other people to FOSTER the puppies because we don't have that much room. Maybe you can help? New smells!

We went to the store this weekend! I tried to make Mom & Dad go faster by pulling, but they kept pulling me back! That is so frustrating! I was so excited that I wasn't imtimidated by the people or other dogs there! It was fun! This lady kept flashing a bright light at us though and squeaking a toy she wouldn't let us have. Then on the way home, Bruno threw up all over Xena. hee hee. I escaped to the front seat 'cause I am what Mom calls "agile." Wheeee!

Ouch!

The puppy keeps biting the hair on my neck and hanging there! I like to play, but this is a bit much! Luckily I am fast so I can outrun him down the stairs, through the doggy door and outside. I like it outside now anyway because it is cold and since my hair has all grown back in (I like to be shaved for the summer) I get hot inside. He is such a weirdo though. But at least there is someone else to play with! Plus, Mom keeps bringing home toys for him that I take and hide...heeheehee

I told you so!

I knew it would happen and I told Xena that it would but she didn't believe me. She never believes me. We have a new puppy! This one looks like a Mini Xena but is a boy. He likes to play even more than I do! His little puppy teeth are sharp though and sometimes I have to tell him so. We got new balls-I think Mom feels guilty about bringing other dogs into our space so she buys us things. O.k. by me! I like toys so bring on the puppies!

Oh boy! Another one!

Mom brought home another playmate last night! I was so excited! This one was older than the last ones though and didn't want to play much. Bummer. She was all calm and was even nice to the cats. She was scared 'cause she got lost and ended up near the road with all the fast fast cars on it. That is where Mom found her. Luckily her human was found and came to pick her up today. I am sure Mom will bring somebody else home soon! Hopefully this one will PLAY!

Freedom!

My mom let me sit out on the front porch with her yesterday-with no leash!! Usually I run off, but I decided this time I wouldn't because I didn't want to disappoint her again. I just watched my little pack member ride his bike and got praised by Mom. Maybe she will let me out a little farther next time!
