Champ has now been with us a full week. And has gotten his human Mommy wrapped around his little paw. He is such a dream to take care of. We have found he doesn't go in the house, he is very good about not chewing on things he shouldn't About the only real issue we have with him is that he thinks all dogs want to play with him. So he likes to tease the heck out of my guy Pippen. Who is half his size, but still has a good set of teeth on him. And a big doggies voice to scare off any dog that decides he is snack size. Pippen is my Chihuahua, and is pretty much a grouch to all the new dogs. He only wants to sit in his Mommy's laps and stay high above any of the intruders into his safe haven of a home. Champ doesn't let that get too him. He just goes back to playing with Lilly once his small little target is out of the way. Champ also has a voice, and loves to drive his foster mommy crazy with it. He learns fast to hush up when I have reached that certain tone in my voice that says opps mommy is getting upset. LOL No really he is actually pretty responsive to me telling him to hush up. He is truly one of the best dogs we have fostered. I don't mind keeping him for as long as it takes to find him the best home I can for him. Like I said he is such a dream to take care of. Well it is late and all the doggies are in their beds already, so I had better get there too. The morning comes much to fast. God bless until next time.

Today was the second full day that Champ has been with us. He came from a one animal home with 3 humans that loved him. To a home where there are loads of dogs to play with. He was at first a little scared of all the big dogs and one little guy that was more his size. But in Pom boy fashion, he over came his fears in less then an hour. And was out playing with the rest of the gang. Yesterday and today he had to learn what it means to say goodbye to friends he had just gotten to know. Two of his foster buds went to live with their new families. He at first didn't care for this idea, and wondered why he couldn't go out with them when they left. But he has learned to deal with it quite fast. He has learned that since the other males have left, he gets all the time of the only doggy female in the house. Now he loves that, and has started up a romance with our girl Lilly. But he doesn't realize that Lilly has heard it all before, and besides she was fixed as soon as she was old enough. LOL So this sort of problem could never occur. See human Mommy is thinking on her toes, and has made certain little boys don't have a chance with her big little girl. Champ doesn't mind though, he still likes to put the moves on Lil. He is a lover not a fighter, he keeps trying to tell her that. But she is only interested in a good game of chaise the Pom.... I got a cute pic of Champ whispering sweet nothings into Lilly's ear. Well enjoy his pictures, I hope to find a home for him soon. God bless, until next time....
