She loved Mommie, going bye bye, visiting Nana & playing outside!
no pet peeves to speak of, but she was a GREAT watch dog!
Her Duckie and tennis ball were FAV's
her regular food and treats; no ppl food.
it didn't matter to her, as long as she got to go, she was happy
what we called her Sooner Fan trick! BOL!
I was graduating from high school and my friends dog had puppies... how could I resist? MY first dog~just mine :) How do I pick? I looked into the box of puppies and she had the prettiest face; absolutely everything she did was adorable! The rest is history or make that HER story... " I lived to the ripe old age of 17 1/2; they let me go the day after mama's birfday in 1996."
Smart as a whip doesn't begin to touch her. She was easily trained, very obedient & and knew many tricks. Our FAV was trotted out at THE football game of the OU Season.... OU vs. TX, always a great watch pawty! We would say "would u rather be a Tx. Longhorn or a dead dog?" and I would make a "shoot you" gesture with my hand and she would fall over, BOL! This was all in good fun; Tx being our biggest rival :D She would still wag her tail, just the tiniest bit, heh heh!! She knew about two blocks away that we were nearly at Nana's house and would get so excited. mannnnnnnnnny years later, she became quite the lil motorhome traveler and loved my husband's children soooo much. When we got married I think she was especially happy about gaining them as our full~time family :D
One smart cookie!!

Rainbow Bridge Poem
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together…
