We went with our daughter to look at some rescue puppies. She had recently lost her beloved dal and had wanted to get another one. I would watch her dal while she was at work, and ended up falling in love with the breed.She had pictures of the dogs and I was immediatly drawn to to our beloved Maizy. When we went to look at them, she was one of the first ones to come up to me, and the rest is history!
Bio:
They were left to fend for themselves in a barn. The "breeder" took the mama and another dog and just up and left, leaving 6 or 7 puppies behind---in winter! It took a neighbor 3 weeks to round them all up and turn them in. DalSavers rescued them and brought them here from Illinois. It was estimated they were born in March. Between myself and our daughter, she said the 17th, as that would be an easy date to remember. So that is the story of our little "Irish"

How amazing is that ? I can't believe it .....I'm DOG OF THE YEAR in this group ! A whole year...that's like the Miss America Pagent....well , sort of !!! I am so honored ! Did you see the pretty picture Max made for me ? I think I look very regal if I say so myself ! I'm sorry I didn't see this until later, but Mama had to go in for Oral Surgery .
Did you see my fursis, Anabel was made Royal Member of the Day and honored for her Birthday in Princess Diva's and Prince Charmings . What a wonderful day for our family. Thank you to all who helped make it great !

Ohhhh, Ohhhh, Ohhhh, What a surprise ! Mama just told me I'm Princess Diva of the Week in Princess Divas & Prince Charmings .....who knew ???
All this excitement with Christmas & now I'm a Princess for a week ! I have a new picture on my page made by Bailey , it's so pretty . Now Mama & Daddy are going to have to wait on me all week long ............Oh wait, maybe Sammy, Pongo , Anabel & Tipper instead ! I better not get too carried away before Mama takes my crown away. Just kidding....Mama is very happy that I was made Princess Diva of the Week & I thank Bailey, Buttercup & PDPC ! I am truly honored !
I also want to thank everyone for all the lovely Rosettes and Christmas Wishes , I am very thankful for all my friends on Dogster !

Well, I did it again ......I was made ROYAL MEMBER OF THE DAY in PRINCESS DIVAS AND PRINCE CHARMINGS ! I haven't even been around that much in any of my groups because of the Flying Monkeys being with us all day. That was very gracious of Bailey to pick me for this honor ! I want to thank her and everyone else and I hope to be around more often in a few weeks when the Flying Monkeys get back to school !!! Wait 'til my sister, Tipper sees this, her spots will turn green with envy .....LOL !!!
