One of our favourite activities in summer is rafting on the Delaware River. Dad drives to a spot about 35 miles north of our home in Phila and parks the car. We then backpack the raft and tube about 7 miles up the Delaware Canal towpath, inflate both of them and set off back down the river. My dad rides in the tube and tows the raft behind with my dog leash. The river in this area has a lot of nice rapids and neat little islands to visit. We enjoy a leisurely float back down the river to our parking spot. Just a great way to spend a summer afternoon! We just did a rafting trip yesterday and the 2nd video---Bulls Island Rapids---as well as the 2nd photo on my page are from that trip. Dad says that I am an excellent ship`s lookout.Since I`ve been on duty,we haven`t struck a single iceberg!
