"My girlfriend wanted to get a puppy and found a litter of GSP's at Town Lake Animal Shelter. They were so cute and attached to one another that I decided to try an adopt a sibling for my girlfriend's puppy. Emma was the only other puppy that didn't have a back-up application on her. The shelter evaluated the puppies and decided that they were abused and feared human interaction so they declared them unadoptable. The people that had the application on Emma backed out and we went to the shelter and sat with the puppies for about an hour and decided the shelter didn't know what they were talking about and all they needed was a good home. So my girlfriend adopted Abigail and I adopted Emma. "
