I came to my mom and dad when they lost their first baby, Sweek Tweek Louise. I was waiting patiently for them at the Tri-County Animal Rescue in Boca Raton, which was where they got Tweek. I was sitting in a cage mindin my own bizness all by myself with a bunch of yappy puppies all around me (how annoying!). Mom walked in the door saw me, and turned right around and told Dad we were done looking! Dad was outside with Snapper (my soon to be boyfriend) and Mom came back in to get me and let Snap "give me a spin. WELL,............. Snap wasn't even close to being over his first love Tweek, so he wasn't the least bit interested. Din even wanna sniff my butt (hmph!) , but I sure loved him at first site!! Mom and Dad decided (against Snapper's snap decision) that I was perrrfect for him. I had cherry eye (which was very unattractive) in both eyes, but mom and dad didnt care! They took me home and made me go to a place called an "eye vet" (very scary for me, I thought I was going to another pound!) and had the nice doctor fixed my eyes. I had to wear one of those stupid RCA Victor cones for 3 weeks (talk about beauty knowing no pain, sheesh!) . Anyways, for a while Snap didn't want anything to do with me, but with my beautiful new eyes and sensitive doggie wigglebutt ways, I finally won him over. We have been best buds ever since, but I can tell he still thinks about his first love by the faraway look in his eyes sometimes, but that's ok, I am very patient, and I am working on making me #1!! I am starting to think he really loves me (secretly) now! Mom and Dad say that I am the sweetest dog ever and if anyone can win Snap over it's me! . I always try to be good and when the other dogs in my pack get in trouble (cuz I rarely do~), I feel guilty (which makes mom and dad feel guilty), it works, try it other puppies!~). I love sleeping with my other pack members, Mom, Dad, Snapper, and Marley. I have my spot under the covers at Mom's feet. Snapper has to lay in the middle with his head on the pillow (he trys to be human, Hah~), and Marley will lay anywhere Snap will let him (he's still fairly new to the pack and hasn't really found his spot yet).
Another one of my wonderful qualities is: I don't like anyone to be unhappy. If you cry, I cry with you. I feel it is my job, I hate for anyone to be sad...... that is my lot in life. That's ok though, I love my family (even the new guy Marley Bob) and can't imagine being anywhere else~..... I hope you will leave me a bone!
