Two days before Christmas, Aunt Ellen and Poppy came for the holidays. However, they were not alone..................... a four month old wire hair terrier male was with them for the purpose of being a gift for Granny, Papa's mother.
I really don't like being the smallest and oldest dog here but I still get the love from Granny and Papa. I keep my royal throne perch on the corner of the black leather couch or upstairs on the fluton looking out the window. It is my KING's Tower.
Papa doesn't let the new pup come up there cause that is our space. YEAH.
He is one frisky pup. You know, Granny has been moving around a lot more since he came. She even went outside when it was REALLY cold to take him for walks to piddle and diddle.
He is nice and we do share toys. I get a lot more toys to play with but I really had rather lax on the couch and chill out.
I still am protective of Granny and always will be.
Papa has gone upstairs so I'd better hit the trail. Never know what we bachelors might watch on TV up there!
Granny needs to get off the puter cause Bradley is crying for her to come into her bedroom. He didn't poodle outside tonight so he is in the crate!!!!!!!!! he he he

The cat is fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Poppa went to Louieeeeeville somewhere up yonder for Saturdee night. Granny was really good to me and you know what????? I didn't cry ONE TIME for Poppa. Yeah for me! Granny is hoping that my 'zi eeeeteee 'tacks will soon end when he goes out.
Yesterdeeee, Poppa mowed the yard and I squalled. Granny thinks I am crying but I am squalling. So, she put me in the kennel and then put me on the porch to watch Poppa mow. I was fine then! Boy, I have her round my paw!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Poppa hooked me to the clothes line WHILE HE MOWED round back so I could run and see him.
I watched those big 'chines that were in the corn field 'acutting corn. I wasn't scared of them either! Naw!!!!! Pickin corn was fun to watch!!! There sure are lots of corn cobs on the ground so Miss Kim said she was gonna pick some up for the squirrels this winter. Granny said since it is her corn field, she'd 'preciate it if she would gather her some, too. These humans sure are good to animals.
Granny said that we are 'pose to take care of each other. That is why God created us. Something called PURPOSE......... sounds good to me cause I sure am getting good treatment here for a purpose. Hmmm What is my purpose? To 'tect Poppa and Granny and to luv 'um un'dishunileeee, I bet.
Granny talked to her niece, Beth yesterdeeeeeee. Beth LOVES ANIMALS and has worked in animal rescue for about 12 years. Beth told Granny that I sure was gittin 'spensive dog food!!!!!!!!!!! Ultra !!!!!!!!! WHEW!!!! You know what Granny told her???????????????????? She said, "Honey, my pets will be treated like I treated Poppa as a baby." Poppa must have eaten well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm gonna have company this weekend for FOUR days!!! Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sleep over company, too!!!!!!!!!!! Sally Belle, my bestest friend and next door neighbor is gonna stay with us while Poppa, Miss Kim and Mr. Jimbo go to Tal I DA GA to watch those fast cars speed around a round road and crash and bang into each other. I bet Granny does sumtin special with us while they are gone.
Well, I am one sleepy Rowdy Raleigh tonight so tootles and sweet dreams!
I want to give a big SHOUT OUT to my foster Mom, Miss Sandy, 'Kenzie and the gang at their house and to Miss Sherri, who is the director of Snuggle Bug Rescue in Franklin, TN. They sure chose a good family for my forever home. By the way, my skin 'dition is clearing up with the new meds Dr. Kevin gave Poppa to give me last week. Licks and kisses to y'all. I know!! I know!! You want me to be good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will TRY!!!!!
Love,

Last night, I did my escape act twice!!!!! Once while Granny was taking me out for a walk in the late afternoon I saw Sally Belle and got so excited that I jerked the leash right out of her hand! Off I went into the cornfield!!! Finally, I got to see what was in behind those big tall stalks. MORE BIG TALL STALKS!!!! It took Mr. Clyde and Mr. Jimbo to get me out of the briars that I wound up getting caught inside. Granny had to pick kookaburras off me, too! Then while Miss Ruth Ann was here, Granny was closing the garage door and LIKE A SPEEDING BULLET, I ran out the kitchen door. I went to unknown areas for Granny couldn't find me. She got in her 'lectric chair and went to Miss Kim's and Mr. Jimbo's house but I wasn't at the back door. HA! I was at the front door. Later, I came around the house in the dark and Miss Ruth Ann picked me up.
Today I practiced my Houdini act again. Mr. Jimbo did not latch the door when he went out to finish trimming shrubs. While Granny and Miss Kim were working in the living room, I hit that door and popped it open!!!!!! Man I flew out and across the road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Miss Kim was on my tail and Poppa came bounding down the steps and leaped across the road. He came just in time cause I had tacked a cat. I got battle scars to show it too. That wasn't the end of my 'citing day. When Poppa left to go to town, I just was so mad that I piddled on Granny's Laura Ashley bedskirt and floor in her bedroom! Can someone tell me what lock down means????? I hear that is where I'll go for awhile if I don't straighten up. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
