My Sweet Furriend Bentley Is DOTW This Week

I am so happy fur him - he was one of my cat brother Roger's furst friends when Roger furst got here - I just love doggies who love cats, like I do. He is such a nice dog, and always very generous and kind about sending gifts to his friends - we really enjoy having him be part of our Dogster/Catster family. Congratulations my sweet friend and I'm so glad we know you and your sweet Mom. Have a barkalicious week!

My Bridge Day Is Friday June 26th And I Have A New Friend- Named Daisy

I hope Mommy will be okay and stay busy - she has a lot of movies planned she is going to - but I know this time of year makes her very anxious. She did finally give a really nice, large unopened box of peanut butter biscuits that belonged to me to a nice lady who lives in a camper near our house with her cute dog, Daisy. She just couldn't give them away until very recently - Daisy is a very pretty, friendly black and white dog, just my size, and Mommy got to feed her the first biscuit from the box. Daisy took it and then lay down in the grass and held it down with one paw, as she munched away on it, just as I would. They look just like human cookies and I am so glad Daisy is enjoying those now - she's really nice and I just know she and I would be wonderful friends if I was Down There too. I will be keeping an eye on her from now on - lots of friends to watch over, being a gaurdian angel dog is very special and important.

I Was Tagged By Sherlock!

That was so furry sweet of him and I am furry honored. I am to list seven things about myself and then tag seven furriends. Hmmm, let me think...

1. When I was young in my early years, people sometimes said I looked like a little brown bear - I liked that! (I'm not very little tho at almost 60 lbs).

2. I loved to ride in the car and was very protective of it! I had a nice blanket on the back seat I would snuggle in and take naps and also a nice water bowl on the floor - oh so comfy and my home away from home!

3. Once I was taken into a night club briefly and Mommy's friends in bands all came outside to admire and pet me - wonderful fun!

4. I destroyed a lot of fuzzy toys with squeakers in them - I loved to shake them and tear them open - in fact I destroyed a lot of things in our home - sharp sharp teeth WOOFS!

5. I loved to play catch with my toys - if the humans would throw them for me I would leap up and catch them in my mouth perfectly - awesome!

6. I love to hold kitties down with my front paws - it's the best thing ever! I always did it lovingly but they never liked it very much - why not??

7. I danced on command and I mean even in the car - if I heard the word "Pogo!" I would do the pogo dance (jumping up and down in one spot, bumping my back against the wall at home, or the car seat) in time to the music on the radio. Wonderful!

Celebrating Russian Orthodox Christmas & 3 Cheers For- International Furriendship!

All this week Mommy was shopping for some wonderful pet toys and blankets at the half off Christmas sales, and what those stores don't know is, Christmas falls on January 7th (today) this year for the Russian Orthodox people and animals! So Mommy's friend who is of that background and religion took all the things Mommy got, along with gifts she also bought and put them in her car to be taken to the local shelters tomorrow. This is in my memory, and Dante's and Wanda's and Osiris's and Kinseys' and Elsa's and all my angel friends. We are so happy all these wonderful things are going to all the homeless animals waiting for furever homes. I know it will make their days a little brighter and warmer.

And as if that weren't enough glad tidings today, I got a purrdy rosette from JoJo, Ariel and Osiris and the message was in German - that was so much fun to read and made me so happy - Vielen Dank mag meine lieben Freunde - viel zu Ihnen!

Wonderful Christmas Miracles

Mommy and I are so happy because a wonderful Dogster Mom on here made the sweetest Christmas tree, with lots of photos of cat and dog angels all over it, and there are lots of photos of it on her doggy angel's page - her name is Elsa, and she is a lot like me! Furry happy and pawsitive, and loved by efurryone, like I was on Earth, and she had some trouble walking and being stiff in her last year or so, just like me, but she never gave up, just like me. I was so thrilled to see my photo on that tree, out there in South Carolina, and there were lots of treats and toys under the tree, all being taken to the local shelter in our names! So wonderful!

I am also very happy to be getting to know some other angel animals on here, like Dante and Wanda - they both went to The Bridge this year, and are so very special and I am looking forwards so much to being close to both of them in the New Year. They are both so cute, and sweet too. I would love to have some more friends and I think I need to be a little more outgoing, just as I was on Earth. I always know that my special furriend on Earth, Mick Jagger (he is a beautiful Pit Bull) is there too, and Mommy and I love him so furry much, and Bentley, and all our furriends in The Black Cat Pub and The Pawsee too.

Now, I need to go settle down on a nice cloud with Wanda and Dante, and we are going to watch all the twinkling lights and see our families open presents tomorrow. I feel so very blessed!

My Furriend Percy Tagged Me!

I am supposed to list seven things about myself - thank you fur tagging me, Percy! Then I am to tag some other furriends. Let's see now.....

1. I loved all kinds of food - everything! Fruits, vegetables, cookies, pencils BOL, just efurrything you can imagine - cherry tomatoes are wonderful, btw! YUM!!

2. I am a furry happy girl, never been depressed a day of my life, ever ever! I think Mommy learned a lot from me by my example, to enjoy efurry moment of life and see the joy all around us. Everything was so exciting to me - and is up here on The Bridge too!

3. I love kitties! It's not true that dogs and cats can't be close friends - I loved all my cat brothers so much and we got along wonderfully, as you can see in some of my photos! I wish I had one of me with Roger, bc we were together for 10 years (what was Mommy thinking to furget to do that?!) but one day I hope we can have one of our furriends make one fur us.

4. I had to have my tail docked in the last year of my life, for medical reasons, but it looked really cute, and healed up furry well and I didn't mind at all. I had ulcers on it that were dangerous and that was why, and I came thru the surgery just fine.

5. I loved my special clothes, bc when my cable knit sweater came out of the closet, I knew it meant "WALK" - I also had a red one and a green one fur Christmas!

6. I wasn't that crazy about walks in the rain, and would let Mommy know "okay let's go back in the house NOW" so we would just go a little ways - I had a red raincoat with a hood on it, but it was kind of embarrassing to be seen in it, unlike my sweaters.

7. Altho I would get up on the bed with Mommy for a short cuddle at night, I really loved my couch for sleeping! I loved it so much, that I ate part of it the first week I came here to live BOL!

Oh Goody - My Sweet Furriend Mick Jagger Tagged Me!

I just love that puppy - Mommy and I love to go look at his photos - he makes us both so happy! Okay I am to list 4 things I love and 4 things I hate. Hmmmm okay I am going to do this about the things on Earth, let's see now....

Things I loved;

1. Mommy and Roger! (And playing with them both - "catch" with Mommy, and "romp and wrestle" with Roger).
2. Chewing things up - all things! Toys, furniture, telephone cords (tasty!), tin cans from the trash, especially if they had cat food in them originally, feather boas, rocking chair rockers (yum!), my Kong (fabulous with peanut butter in it, or just plain was good too!), all kinds of things from the trash (which I always got into if Mommy furgot to close off the kitchen when she went out), oh lots more...
3. My cable knit turtle neck sweater - it meant "WALK"!
4. Going for car rides and really long walks around the lake - other dogs!! Squirrels! Birds!! Fresh air and wonderful smells!

Things I was not that into;

1. The "b" word - b_a_t_h. I always felt wonderful right afterwards, but the actual bath itself? No no no! BOL! I always got one in the bathrub like Mommy did.
2. Being told "NO!" when I held cats down with my front paws - I was only playing!!
3. Short walks - like out to the front of the building and back - borrrring!
4. My red hooded rain coat - it was embarrassing to be seen in it, honestly (though I LOVED my cable knit sweater) and also, it meant "rain" - didn't like that either

I will think about who to tag and do it tomorrow - thank you Mick - this was fun and I love you very much!
