Arrival Story:
We found out this guy was a stray and was in a rural pound for almost 8 months. (How could anyone not notice their humongous dog is missing...or worse, why would anyone abandon such a sweet guy!) He is incredibly friendly, mellow, and intelligent. The problem that kept him from being adopted , we think, is that he's so....er, big. He's only about 90 lbs but he is very tall - 31 inches at she shoulder! We had to get a bigger futon so we can all fit on it. We think he's about 2. He is calm, but still acts very puppyish. He likes to play with every dog he meets and loves to sniff our cat's butt. We think Seamus is a Rottie mix, but the mix is anyone's guess. People have thought Malamute, Gordon Setter, Mountain Dog, and /or Akita. In any case, we were looking for a rottie mix, and boy we found a neat one!
Bio:
I share the futon (usually) with Tyson, a white boxer, and Swiss Cheese, a white cat. I love to run and play with all different dogs, and even try to play with the cat, but he doesn't always feel like it. As if it's beneath him or something. Oh well. I think if everyone just wagged their tails (or nubs) and sniffed each others' butts, there would be a lot fewer misunderstandings!
