Arrival Story:
1/15/07 Riley's health had been declining and was rushed to the hospital with a fatal illness. Riley doctor helped him to pass peacefully and he will be missed greatly by his family and many friends.************************** ***********************
My husband had Riley before I came into the picture but I am definitely his Mommy.
Riley was born with a litter that was on the "special" side and it makes him a bit clumsy, a little slow, very neurotic, but super sweet.
He loves his Mommy and is very needy with her time. Riley likes to follow me anywhere I go and is always by my side. He is my protector, but he's just a big baby on the inside. He loves to be covered up with blankets and likes to wear sweaters(tough to find in his size!).
Riley is one of the most loving dogs I have ever known. When we brought home our little pekingese Minnie, she was 3 lbs. Riley took to immediately caring for her and cleaning her. They play together with toys, wrestle around and run through the house together, all the while Riley is mindful of where each foot is so he doesn't hurt her. He throws a toy in the air and waits for Minnie to retrieve it and does it over and over for her.
Riley truly is a gentle giant!
