Arrival Story:
I was thinking about getting another dog, since I felt Zoe needed a friend to play with (Quigley is not much of a player). I looked at dogs from the local shelter online, and saw a pretty Australian Cattle Dog. I went to the shelter, and as I walked in, saw the Aussie and the family that was adopting her. I decided I would go look anyway, and walked to the doggie section. At the very last cage was this multi colored dog named Harley. There was something about him ... I took him out for a walk and decided I would take him. I came back that afternoon, and found out that the shelter had removed him from his previous home since they left him outside more than once with no water or shelter. I took the dog home, renamed him Jackson, and he has been a happy farm dog ever since.

Bio:
Jackson has been a handful. He had food/toy aggression issues coupled with submissive peeing. We worked on those and he has done a lot better with his confidence. He is a real scavenger and will get into any food item that is left out (including if you leave it too close to the edge on the counter). He also runs up and down the fence all day long, so it is hard to keep weight on him.
