Arrival Story:
I started getting more info on pitbulls, came across BadRap's site and leaned so much. It took me about 1 year before I found the right pitbull to adopt. Once we met Luke, it was over, I came across his picture on Yahoo, he was rescued from Pinole Shelter. He is my soul mate in a dog body and honestly I would rather cuddle with him than my husband any day! Now, pitbulls are my life and I hope to continue fostering!
Bio:
It amazes me like so many other wonderful dogs, Luke was just about to be PTS....just another statistic. Stray pitbull, sweet as can be, beautiful too but not enough homes and too many dogs! It breaks my heart to think he was so close to not ever getting his forever home!

My dearest sweet Luke,
Because of you, I know true love, because of you, I know pain, because of you, I have learned to be un-selfish....
When you were born, you did not ask to be born a "Pit Bull" but it happened anyway and I am so very thankful it did. You are my very first Pit Bull and because of you, I will have many many more in the future. You opened my eyes to the beauty and devotion of such a misunderstood breed. You have helped me teach other people about how wonderful Pit Bulls are and have changed so many minds!
You are my sweet angel and will forever be my best friend! I feel so honored to have you in my life. You may have been saved from euthanisia and a horrible life on the streets but I am really the lucky one to have you as my dog and best friend!
I love you, my sweet, comedian of a dog, Luke!!!
