Arrival Story:
I was left at the vets office when my bills became too costly for my owner. That nice vet just could not stand to put me to sleep, so he let my bills go and his vet assistant just knew her little neice, then 6 years old had been dreaming of a dog of her own. So, It was decided that I'd go live with that vet assistants sister and her husband and their little girl. I was so happy to have my own little girl to play with!!!
Bio:
That little girl had always wanted a dog, her neighbors all had them, and she'd always love them and play with them, but she dreamed of having her own dog. When that little brown eyed girl with long brown pigtails came flying off that big school bus with her care bears bookbag dragging behind her, I would wait with her (and my) mom! The little girl was overjoyed to see me each day, and it was at that moment I knew I'd found my furever home. I was only 2 when they got me, so I was still really playful. She and I went everywhere together. She gave me treats and sometimes sneaked and let me sleep in her bed with her. She belonged to me and I watched her like a hawk. When she rode her bike, I ran beside her, when she swung on her swingset, I lay beside. When she played in her sandbox, I guarded her. We played and danced and had the best time. My little girl began to grow up. She grew quieter and played less. As she watched movies or tv, I curled up on the couch next to her. Even as a teen, she never left me out or forgot about me. She was always the last one to leave the house as she caught the bus and the first one home, and she'd make sure I was fed and had treats and she petted me and gave me belly rubs. She loved me more than I ever imagined anyone could. And I loved her so much it hurt. She was mine.
My little girl went to college. She hated to leave me, and called our mom all the time to check on me. She was so happy to come home once a month to check on me. My eyes lit up when she came through that door. My girl came home for the summer. By this point my health was starting to fail. I was a champ, but my arthritis was beginning to get to me. She carried me up the stairs and gave me soft food and chicken to eat since my teeth were not so good at this point. She knew she was going to have an apartment the next year of college, but they would only allow pets under 20 pounds. She wanted a dog, so she got a little white ball of fluff named Kelsey. So, in fall 1999, Kelsey came into our lives. She was such a funny little puppy. So furry!! I did not mind her at all. I was really too old to play with her, but I knew my little girl loved her, and I was happy to see my girl so happy. I knew in my heart though, that I was getting close to the end. I made it two more years. Then, I went to the bridge. It broke my girl's heart so bad but thank goodness she had little Kelsey. I love my girl, and miss her every day. But I love life at the bridge! I get to chase rabbits every day!

I heard dat Winnie is here at da bridge now! I know she was really special to all the pugapalooza friends. Sam and Kelsey sent me a message to look fur her here. As soon as I find her I'm takin her to da barkery. You know that's my favorite hangout spot. I am gonna buy her a pupcake!!

Hey everyone! My girl scanned in and posted some OLD (some are like 18-20 years old) piccys of she and I. Take a look!! One is even from my last few months taken with Miss Kelsey. Sshe was just a baby then. It is not that old.
I miss her a lot.
I have been having a lot of fun here at the bridge though. Piggy (Molly Grace's sister) and I met up yesterday and went to the barkery. We had some pupcakes. They were so good- they had peanut butter frosting! Yum!!
I sure do miss all of you but I am having fun. I am hoping to catch up with Pugsident Irving one day next week and see if he wants to go grab a snack with Onry Onyx, Lil Pee, Megan, Piggy, Mama Cass, Little Girl, Phoebe, Sierra, Miles the Bat Pug and Me. We get together all the time.

Whew am I tired! My pal Megan and her sister Candy and I went hunting grouse yesterday. We were gone all day! We had so much fun. We ran all over the woods and the fields, but those sneaky grouse were just too quick! We had a blast though. It is so nice here at the bridge. We are having a lovely winter, beautiful snow is blanketing the ground, but it isnt too cold. I have been hanging out with all kinds of friends. Today, I went with Onry Onyx and little Pugnacious Pee to the barkery and we got cookies. I got Peanut Butter, Onry Onyx wanted Chocolate Chip, and Little Pee just had to have that snowman shaped sugar cookie with the frosting!! He got it all over his face it was so cute!! I think maybe later I might call up my pal Mama Cass and go see if she will let me nap in her big squishy chair with her.
Thats about all fur now. Miss and love all of you,
