Mom was blessed with me when North Shore Animal League called & said they had a litter of Cocker Spaniels from Tennessee (I'm a labrador/cocker spaniel mix but that makes me all the more special!). So there I was with my sibs - I came running out like "the little nut girl" that I am & there was my Mom! How lucky were we to find eachother :)

Did I ever tell you guys that I nibbled on my Mom's fingers all the way home? And that I did a poop on the carpet the minute I got home? (A word from Mom - "who cares??? How cute it was!!").

I was a just a teeny little 6 week old baby girl in a new home (BUT NOT FOR LONG - BOL - THE NEXT DAY IT WAS MINE!)!) so Mom slept with me on newspapers on the floor in the kitchen - her friend told her to put a ticking alarm clock between us so our hearts would beat as one & I would feel like I was with my (original) fur Mom & sibs.

But it wasn't necessary - I knew my new Mom loved me. In the (very early) morning, I got up - mewed a little - looked at Mom who was lying right beside me & knew she loved me more than anything!! Since then our world has been WONDERFUL!
