Its my Birthday!! 9/21

Hi friends! Today I am celebrating my 3rd birthday. It seems like only yesterday I was a small puppy coming to my new home and being a wild puppy bol...I have been through a lot of changes the past 3 years, lost 3 of my fur family members and gained a couple more. My life on dogster has taken a few twists and turns as well.

Scary day!!

Today started out just like any other day, had my breakfast and mom let us out in the backyard to do our business and play a little, I came back in the house trembling and had labored breathing, mom called the vet right away and they said get her here now!!

I am now spending my day being observed at the vets, the vet seems to think I either got stung or bit by an insect. So my friends if you could lend a little POTP that would be great!! If all goes well today, I will get to come home later tonight!!

The cat made me do it!

Ok so like every morning after breakfast, Kelbi and I get to run around out in our back yard and that usually means we are harassing the cats! Today was unlike any other day and I think the cat did this on purpose bol.

Mom leaves the sliding glass door open so we can come and go as we please and I came running in the house soaking wet from head to toe and ran straight to my mom, she picked up me and whats baffled as to why I was dripping wet, she looked outside and saw our cat Tyson sitting on a water plant ceramic pot and due to all the rain we have been having it was full to the top! I know he lured me up there to get him and I went in head first! I was scared and shaking, this is not my first time I have gone into water without thinking bol, I ended up having to get a dreaded bath and I know Tyson is laughing at me. But I did get a treat and I smell much better bol.

What a treat!!

We woke up to a little bit of snow here in Northern Ca. The last time we got even a light dusting of snow was way back in 2002 bol, this is my first time seeing the white stuff and all I can say is its cold!! Kelbi and I went out in our back yard to check it out but we were more interested in the squirrels running around in the trees!! Now were toasty warm in the house and the snow has melted away, It was neat to see it! While I am here I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy new year!!

My Birthday!!

Today 9/21/09 I turned two! I guess that makes me not a puppy anymore, but my mom said I will always be her little puppy!! My dad got me new bone to chew on and my new little sister Kelbi had the nerve to take it from me, I took it back and hid it from her bol, its been a fun day so far and I am being extra spoiled!

Evil Groomer adventure!

Today I went in for my monthly grooming which I am not real fond of going to in the first place! I got my bath and was sweet as pie and listened to the groomer go on and on about how sweet and cute I am, she put me in a kennel to dry and as soon as she opened that door I bolted out and ran an hid under the front desk, they could not get me I even growled at them!

They called my mom and told her to come help them get me out, in the mean time I will let you know as luck would have it my vet is right next door, so they called her over and I came out for her. They finished up grooming me and my mom and Dad came to get me, I jumped right into my moms arms! All's well that ends well, here is the best part, I got a peanut butter treat and my dad bought me a new toy, hmm wander if I should always act like this bol

Visit to the vet

Today I went to my vet and the minute I walked through the door I remembered how much I don't really care for this place, I jumped up on mom and she picked me up and I clung to her like glue, so we go into the little room and put me on the cold steel table and this person I don't even know starts doing stuff to me, I look at mom and she seems to be fine with this nonsense what is wrong with her?

Then what happens next just really upset me, they took me away from my mom and took my blood I yelped when they put that pokey thing in my leg, they brought me back to my mom and about jumped out of the ladies arms! Much to my surprise it was not over yet, yep you got it more poky things, I didn't cry when I got those! This lady in the white coat even had the nerve to violate my back end if you catch my drift bol, finally it was really over I left that place and never looked back, I am home now and pretty worn out so I am off to take a well deserved nap!

New Adventures

Today mom discovered I am a jumper! She found me on the ledge of our dining room bay window which is just a little bit higher than our dining room table! Just as mom was coming around the corner, Laci barked at me sounded like she said "get down" bol mom saw me up on the ledge looking out the window but I jumped down after she saw me. Just to prove I could do it again I jumped up and missed! Mom said "Ava stay down", well now that I know I can get up there be looking out for pictures!

Saturday I go to the vet for my annual shots, wish me luck maybe I will get a new toy out of the deal. Speaking of toys dad bought me a new toy on Sunday and by Monday morning I had it destuffed and the squeakers out, I am been on a rampage lately bol. I will update my vet visit.

1st Birthday!

9/21/08 I am celebrating my very first birthday, so much has changed including the way I look! I would like to thank you all for helping me celebrate my very special day, all the birthday wishes and gifts are all so great, mom is making me my very own cake and dad will be making me a special dinner, I kinda like this birthday thing!!
