On Saturday 31st July 2010 in Maine.... there was a beautiful and emotional candle lighting ceremony for the beloved pets we have lost to cancer.

Cleo was born on 25th July 1996 in the Welsh Borders in England. She was my dream dog... my Heartsong. She died 8 1/2 years later of cancer. You have to stop thinking in terms of what is fair and unfair.

Years later .. when I came to the USA to live... I met through this site an wonderful lady called Debbie. Every year she goes up to Maine... and with like minded souls they have a candle vigil for all the beautiful Furs who are now Angels.

This year I made a candle stick and sent it to her and she so kindly lit a candle for my Cleo. I can never thank her enough for that. Many of you read Wyomings Diary.. and Cleo's and many decided you too would light a candle for you and yours that night to.

Between all of us.. we lit a path of love and light that encircled the entire world.

You see.. THAT is what matters. Death.. can NEVER steal love and LIFE. We all lit a way to the Stars.

On Cleo's page are the photos Debbie took and there is a video/slide show of photos as well.

Debbie.. I will never forget your kindness.... nor will I forget the huge swell of good wishes and candle lighters who joined us.

This is such a beautiful way to remember our precious Angel Babies and brought tears to my eyes when I read your diary.
We would love to be a part of it in our corner of the world next year.
Love and hugs, Candyce and Bella.
