Halloween was a blast with cooked pumpkin seeds ( yummy ) and walking in the rain with the kids for an hour. Everyone helped towel me off and I even snagged a popcorn ball. I just get why they put that stuff on their faces that didn't taste right. I tried to lick them clean before going out, but Mommy said stop. Always listen to Mommy! She's got a pocket full of yummy treats.
November's here and Mom's battling the end of year $ numbers, finishing up the holiday letters, planning feats for us all, making warm fires each night to sleep by, done taking that tractor out to mow my grass, and playing more with us pups all layered up in her favorite warm fleeces. They're not the most absorbant for drool, but they're very soft on the snoot.
I hope all my pup friends have a safe, treat filled holiday season and keep intouch with me at hooszoo@comcast.net Mom's getting busier at work so I might not be on Dogster as much, but that doesn't mean you're out of mind!

Happy September and Back to School Time!
All my kids are back to school, Daddy's back to teaching/coaching, soccer season has begun, and Mommy's home more to homeschool the littlest human child for one more year, which means she's home all day for ME! I just love breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, bedtime snack, tennis ball fetching, pond walking, and visiting stores again on a daily routine. Mom worked a lot this summer and I was good, held down the homested until she was home. But now she's all mine and it's FABULOUS!
So yesterday we had a pup weigh in at the vet cause the labs are on lose weight diets and the Dane's are on gain to maintane diets. Ready for this :
Stellaluna lost 11 lbs putting her at 85 lbs of yellow lab!
Crash gained 3 lbs increasing his heartattack weight to 114
I ranked in at 141, gaining 2 lbs since the spring, but still holding my girlish figure so it must be bone mass.
Puckett, now 14 mos old weighed in at 114! He's a growing boy.
Mom says we need to be more strict with Crash's food intake before he drops dead during heavy playtime and definitely increase his playtime to more cardio than wandering in the bushes for good smells. Any suggestions for a lazy black lab x who only thinks of food?

It's been in the 90's in New Jersey and that's too hot for this pup. Mom's been taking me to play with client pups at their cool woodsy pads, but the hanging my head out the window as she drives is really the best. We'd do AC, but i really need the 'head room' in Dad's Prius.
Puckett celebrated turning one last month and now he's starting to fill out. That boys is HUGE and still growing! He really needs to stop nipping at me though to play cause one of these days I'm gonna have to haul off and snap his head off. I'm just glad he's still crated sometimes. He's into chewing and I don't want Daddy mad. It's scarey when Mommy's not home.
OK bedtime for me. Anyone else have their own couches by the windows with fans? It's just right for me. But don't tell the other pups - I hid my 'bones' under the second cushion for snacking in bed.
