update on fosters

It's been a while. So many dogs have come and gone in my house...and even a few cats! Let me see...there is Misty and Lucy (again) and then Daisy beagle and Bella, a big black monster! and then Tulip and Alexis. and a few others in between. Then there was Inky cat and her kittens. And then Ozzy, the stray black cat. He hated me! Now we have little Minimia. She is very cute. She tries so hard to play with me...so I try...but I get tired real quick. The little squirt only weighs 8 lbs...so I am afraid I might hurt her by accident! I usually send her away to play with Maizie. Everything else is going okay. I just celebrated my 12th birthday on Thanksgiving 2008. Wow...how time flies. I'm getting old. Mom says I've already outlived my breed life expectancy. I plan on being around a lot longer. gotta run and take a nap now.

What to do, what to do. Chey-Chey-Cheyanne. Ya know, I'm not usually the kind of guy who gets attached to another dog, but this Cheyanne, she is something else. She really knows how to get under my skin, but for some strange reason, I like her. She is pretty, there is no question there. But WOW, is she bossy! When she is in playful mode, look out. That's her toy, and no one else is gettin it. She can really throw a good Snarl! So, fine, I don't care...she can have it. I can't really decide if I like her or not. I want to like her. Or maybe I DON'T want to like her. Maybe I shouldn't get too attached because I know she is gonna leave. Wow...I just don't know. I'm a dog...what do you expect? Are dogs supposed to have emotions? I don't know. I feel something for her. I just can't explain it. Well, regardless, Mom says she isn't going to live with us forever, because she is going to find a home of her own very soon. It will just take a very special person, and Mom is looking for that special person. So, in the meantime, I will just enjoy the good times with Cheyannne, and try to get through the hard times the best I can.

Hi, I'm getting a little tired of all these animals at my house. Somebody!!! PLEASE adopt Cheyanne!!!! She's sleeping in my bed and eating my food! And stealing my moma away from me. She even crawled up on Papa's chair with him. That is MY spot damnit!!! Cheyanne is a wonderful dog, I'm sure....at someone elses house! Won't you please give her her own home and her own bed and her own Mama And PAPA!

WHERE SHALL I BEGIN?

My family is just crazy. My mom is nuts. She started this new thing that she does, that when she leaves, she comes back smelling like dog. She says she is helping other doggies that don't have a home. Okay, I can deal with that. So okay, she goes somewhere else and takes care of other dogs. I can handle that. BUT, then...she brought one to my house. I don't like that. First there was Lucy. Lucy was a crazy little beagle/jack russel mix. Oh, yea, she was cute at first...but then she got all territorial on me. I tried to ignore her, but it wasn't easy. One day, Mom took her in the car, and came home without her. Mom says she got a new home. Yippee!!! Okay, so then it was just me and Maizie, my little beagle sister. She's okay, I can handle her. So, we just chill for a couple weeks. Mom still goes to help the other doggies. Sometimes, it kinda sucks, because then she is too tired to take me for a walk, or she says it is too dark. Alright, I can deal. I'll just start peeing on her dirty clothes hamper again, if she doesn't start spending more time with me. Oh, oh, and next, you won't believe this. She brings another dog home!!! A giant dog!...well, not giant, but, bigger than me. She calls her "cheyanne"...oh how cutesie.@## not really! She is a shepherd mix. She is such a big baby. She cowers to me. I think it is funny. I just grumble a little and she puts her tail between her legs. One good thing is that she sleeps in her cage. I get to sleep on the bed with Momma. Okay, well Mom went to work, and Pappa's sleeping, and Cheyanne's in her cage, Maizie's in her bed....so what should I do? Ahh...nap! Yeah, that's what I'll do...(all day!)
