Arrival Story:
My husband had always wanted a Golden. After our Cocker passed away (15 years later) we decided to buy one. I was so heart broken I didn't think I could ever love another. The house was so lonley without our 4 legged friend. We watched the paper and found a local breeder. We went to see her about a week before the puppies were ready to be adopted. We fell in love. That week, waiting to pick her up was the longest week for my husband, myself and our 2 boys. My husband held her on the way home, and she has been a part of our family ever since. She is difinitely "daddies girl". We all love her so much. What a wonderful dog to share life with! She goes eveywhere we go and sleeps with my husband and I! She preferes to be the "girl" next to daddy!
Bio:
Sage crossed Rainbow Bridge on June 5th, 2009. She was 8 years old. Never sick a day. During the night she collapsed. By morning we had her at the emergency room. Apparently she had a cancerous tumor on her spleen which had burst. We miss her greatly and our hearts are broken. RIP Sage.
