Arrival Story:
My family and I are dog lovers. I go online a lot looking at the dogs that are up for adoption at our local humane society. I also have a tendency to look but hardly ever feel "connected" plus we are busy folks so a dog wasn't something we needed right at this time. This day though I saw her picture and had an uncontrollable need to go see her. I was at work and emailed her story to my boyfriend who immediately called OHS to have her put on hold for us. He did this even before finding out if I was wanting to look at her; he was emailling me that question as he was talking to the OHS staff on the phone. We knew she would fit in great with our family from seeing how much energy she had from the beginnning. Believe it or not she has aclamated herself to live in our apartment but I think it's mainly because when we come home we are never still and I believe she loves the chaos. Plus her best play toy is our cat Keeley...they love to wrestle and have a ball doing it.

Bio:
When we first saw Zoe's profile she was listed as a mix of Australian Cattle Dog and a German Shepard. We just didn't see either breed in her but had nothing else to go with. We have since learned about the Australian Kelpie and trust me folks she is definitely part of the Kelpie breed...her ears alone prove it. Her temperment and energy level just add more reassurance she fits.

Halloween Night

Boy what fun! I was so excited all night long (no candy needed). If only my owners would let me off that darn leash! I can't count how many cats I wanted to chase and all those kids to play with! I just couldn't calm down, not until we went home that is.

Hope to have as much fun next year.
