What I had before was called Canine Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis, (HGE) . Here is a website that explains the disease:

I had that a couple years ago.
I was very sick.
Had to go to the vet and stay overnight.
And you're right about it costing hundreds
of dollars!
It happened on a weekend when I had to
go to the ER vet.
Mom always asks us why can't we get
sick on weekdays when it doesn't cost
as much!
