Likes: Play...? Play..? ok, lets Play!! food, sleeping on the couch, harassing the cat, playing with his best bud Harley, wrestling with his boy, doing tricks, hugs
Pet-Peeves: the dreaded crate, baseball hats, fries, Hammy the pet hamster (how can such a little thing be so scary)
Favorite Toy: his teddy bear, rope tug, basketball toy, anything that squeaks
Favorite Food: anything that we are eating, especially potato chips and burgers (you might have to fight for that burger, just so you know), lunchmeat, ice cream cones, chew bones
Favorite Walk: to the ice cream shop (mmmmm) and in the woods, he loves to explore and roll in the grass
Best Tricks: high 5!, sit, lie down, speak, shake, comes when called (even off leash), he loves to talk (its not barking, its this grumbly growly yippy whiny noise) to you - especially if you are eating and not sharing
Arrival Story: We adopted Scout when he was 5 1/2 weeks old from the Ingham County animal shelter. He had a very rough start in life coming from a person that had way too many animals. As soon as we saw his photo on the website, we knew he was the dog for us. My son said "his heart was set on him". At the time his name was Spud, and his brother's name was Tater. The shelter told me we could come and see him but not take him home because he was too young, but when we got there they said he was more like 7 or 8 weeks old (turns out they were right the first time and he was more like 5 1/2 weeks). It was hard only taking him and not his brother. This picture is of the day we adopted him. He is wonderful and getting bigger all the time and has proven himself to be very smart and tenacious. And very loving and loyal. We will love him for all time.

I've Been On Dogster Since:
Santa left me a new monkey toy and a bag of pig ears. YAY!
If I bite the monkey just right he screams, isn't that great? My mom had to put this grey stuff all arounds his head though, just cause I pulled out some of his stuffing, and so what if he only has one arm now?
And hey, you just can't go wrong with pig ears...
;o) bwoof
I have a tail
It is as long as me
I can hit things with it
Pop cans just fly off the table when I am around ( too bad there aren't any flying hot dogs)
I can chase it
It never stops moving
The best thing about a tail that is as long as your entire body is that if you try real hard - you can catch it :)
One day, after I had waited all day long, my family came home and they were very excited. They kept asking me if I was ready to go and saying how much fun it was going to be. I kept telling them I was ready!
Finally my mom put this shirt thing on me and it made me walk funny. It had this long thing hanging on my back too. But I wasn't allowed to chew it, I bet it would be great to chew on. She said we were going trick or treating.
She got out my leash and we went for a walk, I was so happy, I LOVE walks. But when we went ouside, there were strange people and monsters EVERYWHERE!!
My people weren't scared, but I gave all those weird guys a wide berth.
We had so much fun, we ran and ran and went and visitied lots of places, I wanted to go in and say hi. And after we went and got burgers. I LOVE LOVE LOVE BURGERS!!!
Happy Howloween!
