7 Years ago, on February 12, 2002 ..... a red fur ball came into the world.


Hehe.


Yay! It's my seventh birthday today!!!

Can you believe it??? I am seven years old! :D

Events:

Feb. 12, 2009- My 7th Bday!
Feb. 13, 2009- Trial... uhh oh.. it's Friday the 13th. We all know what that means.
Feb. 14 2009- Trial... Valentine's Day ♥ I get to spend it with my Redd!



Mom got me a TON of treats! Mostly for my show this weekend, but she got one special one for me. It is a brownie that says " Happy Birthday Ruby"on it in peanut butter ! Mommy gave me and Piper just a little bit of it. She wants to save it for the show considering I was going CRAZY over it! She says I almost bit her arm off for it :P


Tomorrow and Saturday we are going to a trial in Murphy!!! I am so excited! We have to wake up really early tomorrow to drive there. It's a couple hours away. Tomorrow night mom says we are going to stay in a hotel. We love that ;) I am entered in Exc. A Std and Exc. A Jww both days and Piper is too! This is her first time in Excellent! Also, Redd, Makayla, and Joy- puppers will be there! Can't wait!!!!!!!!!

It never snows here. Although it did snow about 2 weeks ago, it wasn't much. This time, we had a ton! (For us anyways) Mom got out of school yesterday for half-a-day and she got all of today out!

Mom got a TON of pics and some videos she might put up later.

Your so sweet! I miss seeing you those cool mornings before mom went to school.. and hearing you howl at the moon before we were both cooped up in our garages :)

You mean everything to me and much much more. I remember when I first saw you... that day. I was the first to lay eyes on you. And I am so so so glad your mom kept you. It was that day that I met my best friend... and my lover ♥

I remember those late nights too. Oh the fireflies and the Redd walks. What great times! I remember that delicious milkshake, and those days... the "washing days" when we were tied up to the tree in mama's backyard. Mama was wrong... everydoggy wasn't happy... not me :/ Eek baths! Ha ha and when our mamas ambushed me. Haha they were dorks. MAJOR dorks... but I love them! And I love you soooooooo much! And when our mama's made us a "doghouse" out of cardboard. Ha! That went well. I remember the secret lots and the " And just what do you think your doing!" Hahaha that still makes mama crack up! Whew! The good ole' times when we were young chickens.


And as we grow old together, I will cherish every moment I spend with you.

OMD! One year ago... Wowzers..

We joined Dogster! It's been a full year!!!!! Or a little over... 4 days off.

We joined October 18, 2007.


Haha thanks to all our pals for being there for us! We've had a great experience so far!!!!


Ooh and it's been a little over a year since mom first met Makayla's mom online :) It'll be a year since they met in person in December... Or was it November? Haha

We are looking forward to some more great times here on Dogster!

UPCOMING TRIALS!!!

Ok, so here are some of the trials that we are going too :)

September 6,7 2008-AKC ( 2 more weeks!!!!!!!)

October 25,26 2008- AKC ???? (Maybe.. mom isn't sure yet, probably not)

January 10,11 2009- AKC ( First trial of the new year!)

February 2009- Maybe a USDAA trial, maybe not, mom has to check with her family because we have two AKC ones after that , which are really close by and trials for us can get expensive.

March 21,22 2009-AKC (Can't wait!!!!! This time Easter doesn't fall on this trial :D)

May 9,10 2009- AKC (This is going to be the first time that mom knows of that ORKC will be having this trial! It's nearby too!!! )


These are some of the trials that we know of and we are probably going to go almost all of them except for maybe the one in October (since we are really busy right now) and we may not do one in February either because of the costs and it is farther away. :)

I love you so much... you mean the world to me. I hope you get better soon. Your my best friend everr... you always have been.. and you always will be. The day you entered my life... was the best day. The days under the hot sun, in the pouring rain, the homemade milkshakes, the "washing days", the firefly night walks, the Baptism, and wedding, and and the list goes on and on. Those days with you were the best. Ever. I know we can't go back in time, but if we could... I would do it in a heartbeat.



I love you so much Redd, and I really hope you get better sooon. I know we don't get to spend as much time as we used to together... but I still think about you all the time.


Anyways the point of this diary entry was to tell you that me and mom are thinking about you and praying that you get better soon... very soon.

Agility Trial 8/3/08 :D

Wow! Whew! Today was a long day....


First I had my Standard run... wow. By the look of the course and when mom walked it, she knew there was no hope for my OA. For one reason, it started out with the chute. I hate starting out with tunnels and chutes. It just slows me down more than a regular course. And you would think I would be the kind of dog that would like something like that, but I don't. Also, there was a weird turn for me from the A-frame to the tunnel and the course ended from that tunnel to another. She knew that wouldn't be pretty for me. But, we still went out there to have fun and guess what?!?!?!?..... I got my OA title!!! Mom was VERY surprised... I started out slow from the chute and then after the weaves I started to speed up! I was really fast and almost had a refusal at the dogwalk but mom saved me from that. And I actually did well with the tricky turn and and sped through the two tunnels!!! I was 5 second overtime which is good for me since I'm usually WAY overtime. I also got third place! Mom was amazed and was so proud of me...


After that I had my JWW run. Mom was to busy focusing on my Std course that she was starting to forget JWW. Plus, she was confusing it with Novice JWW. She was so proud of me from my Std run that she didn't want to end with a bad run with me. That's why she let Redd's mom run me! Redd's mommy did awesome with me and we had soooo much fun!!! I was still overtime but Redd's mommy got me to run some! It was so fun!





Ooh! And my hubby Redd got his AXJ today!!!! Yay! Mom had the chills as she watched him run! It was amazing!!!!!!!!


Makayla you did awesome at this trial! Mom had so much fun with your mom at the hotel.. hahaha!





So basically, mom finished her goals and more for this show with me and Piper. This trial was so much fun and we will be sure to go next year!!!! Everyone who competed at with me did an awesome job and this was definetly the highlight of my summer!








CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE SEPTEMBER TRIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agility Trial 8/2/08

Today I competed in Excellent A JWW and Open Std. I don't have any legs in Excellent and I have 2 out of three in Open.

Today in JWW I was really fast! Well, fast for me :) I was still a little over time... which is why I didn't Q, but it was a MAJOR improvement for me!

After my JWW run, was my Standard run. Mom was hoping that I could maybe get my OA title, but I had a lot of time faults. Ha ha I basically trotted the whole course. Oh well, mom was proud of my excellent run and at least we still have tomorrow :D



Redd and Makayla did awesome today! Can't wait until tomorrow!

1 more day....

Tomorrow me, Piper, mom, Rudy and Bo's mom, mom's dad, and mom's brother are driving to the agility trial! It's finally here! We are only competing for 2 days... August 2nd and August 3rd. We will probably leave tomorrow around 6:00. The trial is about 4 hours away (including rest stops). I probably will not be able to get on here since mom will most likely not bring the laptop... things will be chaotic. Wish us luck though! Mom will be sure to get video and tell all about it when we return.... and probably some pics too :)

I am entered in Open Std and Excellent A JWW both days. ( Unless I get my OA the first day which mom hopes for, but she won't be disappointed if I don't) I have two legs in Open Std and none in Excellent JWW.

Piper is entered in Novice B Std and Novice B JWW both days. Piper has one leg in each class.

Mom's goals for this show is to get a Q for each of us, but if we don't get one, she will still be happy with us no matter what. She just wants us to do our best and have a good time. :D

My pals Makayla and Redd are also competing. Lets wish Redd luck on getting his AXJ and Makayla luck on getting a Q in one of her classes!

This will be Redd and mines 11th trial :D



Wish us Luck! We will sure need it!
