Just dancing in the snow, what a wonderful feeling, I'm happy again :D

Ok so today....


IT SNOWED!

It never snows here, ever.

Ok so it wasn't much snow, but it was enough to make us happy! Mom played agility with us and gave us many treats :) Snow makes her happy too.

Mom got tons of pictures of us that she may upload soon. She just got in a little while ago from training us. Boy, was I going fast. I dunno if it's the snow or what it is, but I was the fastest mom has EVER seen me. And I mean ever. And Ruby was really fast too!!!


Well the snow has stopped falling, but I am still praying for more soon!

First Trial of the New Year! :D

This past weekend me, Ruby, Redd, Makayla, Joy, and our agility class competed in an AKC agility trial!

Here our Mine and Ruby's results:

Piper

Day One-

Open JWW- NQ, knocked the first bar... after that, it was a mess :P

Open STD- NQ, I did so much better then my JWW run, but missed my A-frame contact!

Day Two-

Open JWW- OAJ title! We Q'd and placed 2nd! It was a nice run, although there were a couple parts we could have improved on speed.

Open STD- OA title! We Q'd and placed 2nd again! I was really fast in this run... and mom really guarded my contacts. ( We'll have to work on them before our next trial!)

Ruby

Day One-

Exc. A STD- NQ, time faults (slowest run all weekend)

Exc. A JWW- NQ, time faults... but I ran more than usual!!!!


Day Two-

Exc. A STD- NQ, time faults.... BARELY!!!! Ruby did so good on this run I couldn't have been so proud! We were just a few seconds over!!!!

Exc. A JWW- NQ, time faults... I ran quite alot... but still overtime.




Overall, mom was proud of our performance this weekend. With me getting my OA and OAJ and Ruby picking up speed BIG TIME at this trial!

Congrats to Redd for some FAST runs this weekend!!!! We know one day he'll be getting his MACH :)

Congrats to Makayla for getting her FIRST Q!!!!!!!! And a 3rd place too! She did so good this weekend and improved a TON! A totally different dog..... :D

Congrats to Joy for Qing and placing 1st 3/4 times! We know she'll get her titles soon! xD

Congrats to the rest of our friends and classmates for their beautiful runs!


Also, it was so nice to meet Ivy and her mom!!! Can't wait until they are in the ring with us! We all need to go to Dianes soon!

14 hours until our first trial of the new year! We will be there with all of our pals: Redd, Makayla, Joy, and our whole agility family!

CAN'T WAIT!

Mom and I have been looking forward to this trial for awhile now. I am in Open in both JWW and STD and need one more leg in each to move onto Excellent! And Ruby is in both Excellent classes and we are hoping she speeds up a little bit :P

As 2008 closes, we would like to thank all of our pals for being there for us. We have met many great pups on here and have had a wonderful year! :)

Also, there are only 13 more days until our first trial of the new year! January 10 & 11, 2009 !
We can't wait to be around some of our greatest agility pals! Also, our best friends Redd, Makayla, and Joy will be there! And BFFF :D

Just little updates!

* Mom just received an email confirmation for our agility trial in February!!! WE CAN'T WAIT! Hopefully, we'll be competing in Excellent by then! This is AKC. It's at the same place we had our August trial this year. It is an extremely night facility and we will be staying overnight. Also, our pals Redd and Joy are coming! We are SO excited!!! We are trialing on Friday the 13th ( Haha that calls for trouble) and Saturday the 14th. Mom entered me and Ruby in JWW and Std both days! Can't wait!

* It will be a little while before my October agility trial videos will be up. Sadly our video camera is having issues, so we have to take it in to get fixed sometimes. Whenever that is... haha.

* My pal Makayla is competing in a NADAC trial this weekend. GOOD LUCK MAKAYLA!!!! We know you'll do amazing!!!!!

* Christmas is comingg :)

* Our next trial is January 10, 11 2009. We have been waiting for this trial for forever! CANT WAIT! We'll be competing with Redd, Makayla, and Miss JOY!!!!!! Also, we will see our BFF. Oh and SlyCat will be there... haha that little sly cat... gets me every time!

Sorry we haven't put vids or pics up from the trial about 2 weeks ago yet. Mom can't find the cord to download them to the computer. Smart huh? Were going to try and find it this weekend though. We're slow. BOL.




Agility class was really fun last night! I was really hyper and did everything mom told me to! My teeter and weaves showed much improvement! Mom also managed to fall in the grass a couple times and get her foot stuck in my leash and fall backwards
( hahaha) but other than that class was amazing! Ruby did extremely well too! Fast little bullet :P




MAKAYLA! We need to get together really soon... maybe next weekend or sometime when we don't have anything going on.. WE HAVE TOOOOOOOOOOOO! Hehe :) Petsafe? Dianes? Backyard practice?????? Haha.


My teeter is getting so much faster! Mom loves it :) :) :) It's not done yet though.. we still have a little work to do. Mom has a good feeling about the show coming up in 2 months! A good feeling!

I am one of the picks of today's featured diaries ! Yay!

October 25th... or is it the 24th... 2008?

Hahaha it is so the 24th. :P

Just kidding! On all of our course maps today it said the 24th.. it was kinda funny.

Today was AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Well we got up pretty early, mom went to Starbucks, and then we began our two hour drive to the trial. We got lost when we were like 2 minutes from the fairgrounds, and we spent 30 minutes looking for the place ( We went there 2 years ago, so I dunno why we forgot) Oh well, it didn't affect any of our runs. Excellent was still running.

Ok so first we ran in Open Std. Mom was pretty nervous because the ground was kind of damp still from the rain and I have never ran at a trial on grass before, even though I train on it all the time, mom thought I would sniff. She was wrong. BOL. The course had a weird turn in it towards the end from the jump to the weaves. Very weird. Everyone kept messing up... haha. Well, I had a very good A-frame ( or mom thought so), I usually don't run down it, but today I did! I usually creep. I almost went back up the dogwalk after I went to the tunnel and was curving back to a jump, but mom caught me just in time. Boy I was flying on that course. It was so much fun! I was one of the only ones to smoothly get the turn to the weaves and mom was even on the outside.... and I was FAST at them! I am never that fast at my weaves at shows.. I guess all mom's hard work with me has paid off. Everyone cheered loudly at the end and mom felt so proud, knowing I had come so far from a shy , ring- scared dog in January to this outgoing and happy dog in the ring. We Qualified and placed first!!!!!!! One more leg until Excellent Standard! Can't wait!!!!

Second run. My second run was Open JWW. JWW wasn't as beautiful as Standard, and I was a little bit slower, but still pretty good! I was a little distracted but not much. There was another weird
jump / weave turn for me... I have never really tried before. After the weaves the jump was further away and directly across from the weaves. I swear this judge loved angles... like way too much. But she was fun, and nice too! I Q'd and placed first again! One more leg until Excellent JWW!

Third run. My third run... which by the way was like 6 hours after my second run was my first ever run in FAST. Mom looked at the course map FOREVER and tried to figure out a good course that would get us our points. Well, she was confused because she didn't know if the send box counted towards the total number of points, or if was separate. Stupid right? Well she finally came to her senses, and she found out an easy course that was just like a big circle for me to do. Turns out everyone else had the same idea. BOL. The send box was really easy, just a couple feet away.. I was expecting it to be further. After I completed the send box I did a serpentine type thing and got 4 more extra points. It was SO much fun! We got 2nd and Q'd!!!!! The dog that beat us was a BC, we had a faster time, but I think they did the A-frame , therefore getting a couple more points then us. Mom was going to to that or the weaves with me, but she wanted to play it safe because it was my first time and everything. She was so amazed.


After our FAST run, we had to wait a little while to get our ribbons. It was starting to get dark and we needed to head home, but we waited since we aren't going tomorrow. Well our ribbon wasn't with the others. Mom and this other lady searched and searched but couldn't find it. Turns out they hadn't printed our stickers, and our ribbon was sitting by the trial secretary. The judge was sitting near her doing something also. As mom got my ribbon and started walking away, the judge's voice stopped her. She said " You did very good today. Your the girl with the Golden right?" Mom answered " Yes" . The judge smiled at her and said " You have a wonderful dog and she is very nifty." Nifty meaning stylish or smart; excellent. That made mom want to cry. A judge had never confronted her like that before, or at least not in that way. As she walked back with our ribbon, the photographer was talking to mom's mom and telling her how good I did today. This was the same photographer that had scared me in the ring in January. I wasn't scared of her anymore in the ring. She was very nice too.

So to sum this trial up.. this one day trial... it was AMAZING! One of the funnest I've ever been toooo! We had a blast!!! Mom went to Sit n Bull... yes... Sit n Bull. It was really good too! LOL Redd. And yes I got pictures of it, the people there were like staring at me weird. Figures... Also, mom went to Taco Bell for dinner, not that it matters, but thats exactly what she ate 2 years ago at that trial... I didn't see the grapes.. D: Again! Also, this was a really successful trial for me 3/3! And mom got to spend time with her mom... it was fun! But, we did miss our pals, who by the way did AMAZING today at their trials! I heard there were Qs and titles flying everywhere. I guess today was an awesome day for everyone!

I am going to try to put my videos up tomorrow, and maybe a few pictures too. Sorry if this diary is a little braggish... BOL.. but you have no idea how proud mom is of me right now. She is hoping I can get my Open titles in January, not sure if it will happen but we can always hope!

Wow January seems so far away. About 3 months. Can't wait though. I miss my show already! ;(

Wow this time 2 years ago...

Mom, Ruby, Redd, and Redd's mommy went to this trial and I had to stay home. Now I get to go and Ruby gets to stay home. BOL. Mom remembers when she and Redd's mom rode up there together ad went to the ole' Sit n' Bull... and Taco Bell... and the grapes! HAHAHA! Mom will miss them this year so much! She'll miss going over near that little garden thingy too with them!


Ahh good times!


Can't wait for this year though! Even though my agility fam won't be there, me and mom will have fun! Wish us luck! Prayers needed!!!!!!!
