To the car. I rarely like the destination, but I love car rides! I always try to stop at the car when on my way to a "real" walk.

Leaping like a mad gazelle until mama gives me a treat, and I can smile too :)

Arrival Story:
After many years of being a very proud cats-only person, I randomly decided to give a dog a chance. I feel a bit anxious around most dogs, sometimes even a little afraid of them. But when the whole toy dog thing came into fashion and little doggie sweaters were being sold outside of mom and pop specialty shops, I got to thinking a small one might not be so bad. My mother grew up with pugs and she loves them. In addition, Marie Antoinette and several fashionable ladies of old had pugs. Surely they must be a great first-dog. I'm sure they are, just not the one I ended up with. He was a Tasmanian devil with a sever case of adhd and destructive abilities beyond my novice training skills. I had him for a year before giving him up to a friend who appreciated his wild side. I still adore pugs, but I am hesitant to ever get another of my own. That being said, I was not about to give up on dogs. I remembered seeing a sweet cuddly puppy in the dog park when I still had the pug. The owner told me it was a CKCS, a name I may have heard in passing but wasn't familiar with. Fortunately, I remembered that puppy when I was looking for a new dog. I made sure to do my homework first and read everything I could find on the breed before looking for a breeder. I couldn't have made a better decision if I tried. Odyssey is everything I was looking for and a whole lot more.

Bio:
Odyssey was the runt of her litter and she is still very small. The doc says she is overweight if she gets above 10 lbs cause her frame is to small to support the standard cavalier weight (of at least 13lbs).
