It seems that our yard is skunkless these days! Finn & I charged one in our backyard about a month ago, and Finn got sprayed. So mom has kept us inside as soon as it gets dark. But then last week the neighbor reported that her big dog killed 2 skunks in their back yard!!!! He sure wasn't allowed in the house. Dad gave them our special recipe for deskunking us: 1 quart 3% Hydrogen Peroxide, 1/4 cup Baking Soda and 1 teaspoon Dawn liquid soap. He's had to use it 3 times on us, and it always works! So the neighbors tried it and Blue is now allowed back in his house! Whew, we were feeling sorry for him. Mom was feeling sorry for the people!!!

But it turns out that now we're skunkless. I bet the rest of them moved on to a less dangerous neighborhood!

I think you should give Blue an award for killing those skunks. Now because of his brave actions you will be able to spend more time outside.

Hi, Winston -

Mama is impressed that a dog would kill a skunk. last year I was sprayed by a skunk and Mama and Papa kept calling me Pepe-La-Peeeu. How embarrassing!
