It's my birthday!

Today is my birthday! I've been having so much fun! I woke up to presents, which were a new stuffed animal, and a nice warm coat! Mommy took me to work, and I was a little scared because she works at a vet's office. I went in this morning, and I got into one of the kennels. I was kind of upset for the first hour, but then I made a friend! My new friend's name is Rider, and we get along so great! We're about the same size, and he's a lot of fun. I also got some amazing food from mommy! I've never had that kind of food before! We played, and I got some much needed excercise! People kept coming up to me and saying happy birthday! I also got a lot of treats, and mom said it was alright for me to stray from my diet for the day, since it is my special day. When mom and I got home, she baked me a cake (which I am currently waiting for), and it smells delicious! I'm a little tired from my day, but I'm ready to really celebrate with mom, dad, and their friends. Oh yeah, and my dad got a job with the state! So it looks like we'll be moving soon. I'm excited to get a yard that I can run around in instead of waiting for grandma and grandpa's house!
