Freeze-dried liver treats, chicken jerky, Mom's home-made liver snacks.
She hates to have her toenails trimmed. She's also not real fond of coming when called.
Any small, furry, squeaky thing. Plus any of the 150, 000 kids' toys she can get her little mouth around and destroy!
Human food. She eats all kinds of holistic dog food (Taste of the Wild, Halo's Spot's Stew, etc.), but she will only eat them with a liberal garnish of freeze-dried liver powder.
Anywhere -- she's not picky.
High 5, Bang! (Play dead), Roll over, Down, Stay, Up, Shake hands (both), Leave it (with the treat laying on her front paw!)
I wanted a Cavalier for 15 years before I finally was in the right situation to have a dog. We got her from a wonderful breeder in Missouri who shows and rescues Cavaliers. We coordinated picking her up with our vacation at the Lake of the Ozarks, so it was the best vacation ever! She slept the whole way home on a pillow in my lap, and she pottied at every place we stopped, so she was the perfect little puppy.
Daisy is the apple of my eye, but she did turn out a little too big for a show dog, but that's OK, I wasn't planning on showing her anyway! She is the world's friendliest dog, so she runs at top speed to any human or dog she comes across. As is typical with her breed, every person she doesn't know is treated like her long-lost best friend in the world!
I never met a person I didn't like!
