I'm 7 weeks old tomorrow!

Life is so much fun with my family! They've made sure that I have alot of toys to play with! For some reason my Mom seems to come home with a new one almost every day! I really LOVE to eat! It's amazing how fast I can empty my bowl! Which probably explains the other thing I do alot!! I try to poop in the backyard but have had a few boo-boo's. Oh well, I still get alot of kisses.
It's fun getting my Mom and Dad up during the middle of the night. Not sure if they love it as much.
Well, off to take another nap.

My first boo-boo!

Well, today was pretty stressful! My Daddy and I were in the yard and I sort of ran real fast under his feet and he stepped on me! He feels really bad! My Daddy took me to the vet and I had to have x-rays on my foot. I have 2 broken bones in my foot! ouch! The splint the doctor put on me is bigger than my leg! Tomorrow morning I have to go back to the vet so he can sedate me and put a cast on my leg. bummer. This whole mess is really cutting into my play time! The good thing is that I get even MORE kisses from my Mommy!

Igot my cast today!

Well, it's official! I got my pretty cast today. It's pink! Boy is this thing big! I'm having a hard time being my usual playful self, but I'm managing to have some fun. My Mommy looks at me like I'm really pitiful. Daddy still feels pretty guilty! I still love him though. Hopefully the pain isn't as bad tomight so that I don't wimper as much. My poor Mommy was up with me alot last night. she still love me too though!

Movin' on up!

I feel like such a big girl!!
I really surprised my Mommy and Daddy when I walked ALL the way up the stairs today - even with my cast on! WOO-HOO!!! Now they have a dumb gate up at the stairs. Geez. Oh well, Mom brought home another new toy today so I guess she's still cool!

THE CAST IS OFF!

Yes, it's true! After 5 long weeks my cast is off! Yipee! (Check out my newest photo). My leg is still a little sore and I don't like putting much weight on it yet, but I'll get used to it! My Mom and Dad say my leg is so much thinner than the others. I'm sure that if I exercise it enough it will be back to normal in no time! Mom says that in a couple days I'm getting my first bath. Is that a good thing? Should I be nervous? Hmmmmm.................
My other exciting news is that I was in my first doggy costume contest last night. I was "Zsa Za Gabor" an I loooked SO DARN CUTE!!!! I won the category of Most Beautiful Dog with a Broken Leg! (I think they may have made that up because they felt sorry for me!) Oh well, it was fun.
Well, 0ff to lay on my nice new comfy bed. That Mom of mine sure knows how to pick em'!!!! Have a PAWRIFIC DAY!

My first Christmas!!

Yipee! It's my first Christmas. Mom says I'll be getting some fun new toys in my stocking, if I'm a good little girl. (I may have blown it though!) I've been so good though about not touching any of the Christmas stuff, so I hope that counts for something. (Although eating another sock last week may NOT have helped). Mom likes to put silly Christmas stuff on me, but I don't care. Whatever keeps her happy, at least that's what Dad always says!
Well, time for a nap. This celebrating is wearing me out!

I'm six months old!

It's hard to believe, but I've graced this earth for six months now as of Jan. 27th! I'm already 42 pounds and growing more and more and more every day! My Mom and Dad though it would be smart to have me spayed earlier this month. Ouch! The good thing was that I got EVEN MORE loving! Honestly, I felt so much better the day after that Mom and Dad had to keep me from hurting myself. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!!!
I graduated from my first phase of training at Pet's Mart and have already started on the second. My trainer, Lindsay, say's I'm her star student! A friend of mine calls me a brown-noser! I can't help it that I'm so smart!
Mom got me a special vest that lets me go anywhere with them. They're getting me socialized and used to all kinds of environments so that some day I can be a therapy dog at nursing homes. My Mom's worried that I might kiss people a little too much though!
We've been going to a dog park too, so that I can RUN, RUN, RUN! I love it! It's fun meeting the other dogs too. My favorite thing in the world though is playing catch with a tennis ball! I could do it ALL DAY!!!
Well, off to puppy slumber land!

I'm 9 Months Old Now!

I'm such a big girl now! I turned 9 months old on the 27th! Life is good too! I get to go to the dog park alot. We went to a PAWSOME dog park a couple week ago. It's called Cosmo Dog Park and is in Gilbert, AZ. It's the number one dog park in the country. It even has a big lake that we can swim in. I had so much fun! My Mom didn't want to leave - EVER! Dad had different ideas though. I got to meet so many great dogs, even some HUGE Great Danes. There was a beautiful male Dobie there that was much bigger than me. I think he was flirting with me a little. Mom says to watch out for guys like that. I'm much too young for that whole dating scene! Well, hope ya'll are doing great out there. Bark at me sometime! WOOOOOOOOOOOF!

My first camping trip!

Mom and Dad took me on my first camping trip last weekend. I had such a blast! The first night wasn't so fun. It was a rare moment in Arizona. SNOW AT THE END OF MAY IN THE MOUNTAINS! I was freezing! Mom made sure I warmed up though. She bundled me in blankets and I got to sleep with my Daddy to keep me warm. When it finally stopped snowing and the sun came out we went on two long hikes in the forest. I'm not sure if there was anything that I DIDN'T explore! haha! There were so many new things to see, smell, hear and touch. Mom didn't like it though when I ate deer poop. Geez, my Mom gets too worried sometimes! One of my favorite things to do was to chase grasshoppers! Mom and Dad must have thought it was pretty funny too because they were laughing at me. I got to play with my beloved tennis ball even when we went camping. It was more fun than at home because I had to jump over stuff to find my ball. Sometimes I would act like I couldn't find it so that mom or Dad had to walk far to look for it, but I always knew where it was! hahaha! Mom and Dad tired me out SO MUCH on the trip that I slept the whole way home from Flagstaff to Phoenix. I LOVE camping and can't wait to go again!!!!

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY TO ME!!

Well, I'm a big girl now! I turned a year old on the 27th of July!!!!! My silly mom made me a cake! I even got a little piece of it! My Mom and I have the very same birthday so we celebrated together. I think she's a little older than me though (actually, ALOT older! hahaha!) Dad took me to the dog park the morning of my birthday and I had so much fun with all my buddies! I got so many new toys from people. I wish every day was my birthday! A BIG THANK YOU to all my Dogster pals who sent me gifts for my special day. I WUV YOU ALL!!

I'M A BIG SISTER!

Well pups, I became a big sister today. Whoop-dee-do! I'm not sure yet if I like this idea. My new little sister's name is Ellie and she's also a Dobiegirl. I have to admit that she's pretty darn cute! I just wish she could play like a big girl already! For some reason when I try to play with her she gets kinda scared. Must be because she's only six weeks old. Mom and Dad are trying to show me that I'm still their baby too, so that's good! What's funny is that I get to go on my walk twice a day and Ellie doesn't get to go because she too small! hahahahaha! Oops, that might have been a little mean. Sorry Ellie! Mom is going to start a Dogster page for Ellie real soon so that you can all see her.
