Saturday Night Dinner

Mommy told me Aunt Pam, Uncle Jimmy, my biological mommy "Puddin", daddy "Jake" and sister "Peaches" were coming over for dinner. I so look forward to them coming over. Mommy cooked us chicken breast and string beans. When they got here, we ran around the house, played and went outside to terrorize the squirrels. Mommy said that the squirrels will probably stay away for a while after we've been out there. Mommy fed me before they got here because I do get very excited and it's hard to eat, (I'm afraid they will eat up my food!) They were served some of my chicken and beans, but they insisted on eating out of Mommy and Aunt Pam's hands. I partaked too, even after eating earlier. Uncle Jimmy even gave me a piece of his steak, mmmmm good. They stayed for a while after dinner, we all layed around on my many beds and rested. On Sunday boy was I tired, I am not used to all that activity, (I'm an only child you know.) Mommy and Daddy kept saying I was acting out on Sunday afternoon, they even said I must be going through the terrible twos again, I was like getting my second wind after lunch. I don't know what got into me. I started winding down after supper, (after I got my belly full), layed on Daddy's back, he lays in the floor on his stomach and watches tv, its so comfortable there, I nearly went to sleep.
We went to bed around 9 p.m.

Dec. 10th

I stayed with Aunt Pam and Uncle Jimmy Saturday night. I am always excited to go out there. My biological mommy, daddy and sister greeted me at the door. We ran around and played, I checked things out and then low and behold I saw the community plate on the floor. It had chicken and noodles on it, all my favorites. Well, I just headed for that plate and started digging in. Mommy said, "Keno stop that you just ate at home!" I couldn't help myself, I was eating too fast and started to cough, so Aunt Pam picked up the plate and put it on the table. I think Mommy gets embarassed, she believes people think I don't eat at home, but I do. I just like eating!!!

Friday November 30th:

Mommy could tell I wasn't feeling good, she knows every time. She saw my runny eyes, saw me licking my nose alot and felt that I was a little warm, so she called Somerset Animal Hospital.

Dr. Jim saw me that afternoon. I had a fever of 103 degrees and he said I had a sore throat. He was right. He gave me a shot, and some antibiotics to take home. He gave mommy all the instructions to get me feeling better again. Dr. Jim asked mommy if I still had an appetite, she just laughed and laughed because you know there isn't much that will take my appetite away. Mommy told him that she is sure I have allergies. He said mommy knows when her baby doesn't feel good.

Saturday December 1st:

My biological mommy, daddy and sister came over with Aunt Pam and Uncle Jimmy for dinner. I am always happy to see them. I was feeling alot better enough to play. Daddy Jake got the squirts and Aunt Pam and mommy put him in the sink to get cleaned up. Uncle Jimmy said it embarasses Jake when he does that. You know what I am just like my daddy Jake. The call us big me and little me because when we sit in front of the door to look out, our heads always move in unison. Well they have left, and I am a little tired, I think I will go to sleep. November 27th
I just have to tell you about my Thanksgiving. Mommy was home Wednesday Nov. 21 until yesterday. That was so much fun because I love to go outside in our fenced in yard. It's all mine!!!
On Thursday Thanksgiving day me, mommy, daddy and mom-mom Peggy went to Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Pam's for dinner. It was sooo exciting because I get to see my biological mommy, daddy and sissy. It's old home week when I get out there because I think they really know we are all related.
I love to go out there because, Aunt Pam fixes us a really big community plate with chicken and noodles. She always fixes me the small plate like I have at home, but I dig into the big plate. Everyone was staring at me because you see, I am the smallest with the biggest appetite. I got a kick out of it. Daddy kept saying, "Keno let the others eat too." You know what? they went to my small plate. heheheheh! I ate what I could and walked away satisfied. I left some for them. I'm not that big of a pig!.
Over the weekend Mommy and Daddy started trimming the house pretty for Christmas. I love all those lights. The only thing is they get so busy I just stay on the back of the couch and watch. Daddy and Mommy will come over periodically and kiss my head. I just eat that attention up. Then they give me some Charlie Bears for a treat. I just love my Mommy and Daddy and I know they love the pieces out of me.

October 31:
Thought I would check in today, because today is Halloween. Mommy bought a pumpkin scarf for me to wear tonight, but I don't like to wear scarves. She keeps saying how cute I look. Daddy knows I don't like it. Daddy puts the gate up at the door, so I can see everyone when they come up for trick or treating. I bark alot at them, but they have scary costumes on! Those little children always have to pet me, I don't like it. They will say, "does he bite?", Daddy says not if you don't put your hands down behind the gate. Truthfully I have never bitten anyone, my bark is worse then my bite. This year I will try to be on my best behavior, and yes I will probably wear the scarf for a while.

October 17th:
Yesterday I went to Country Critters and got my hair cut. It looks so much better, that's what my Mommy says. Mom Mom Peggy came by to see me, I was having so much fun playing with Daddy. I got so hot, Mom Mom Peggy said I needed to go and drink some water, I did and I felt much better. I was smelling something good, Mommy was cooking chicken, even though I know it was for their dinner I figured they would give me a little bit. Sure enough I got some!

Spending the night away from home

September 27, I spent the night with Aunt Pam, Uncle Jimmy, my biological mommy Puddin, my daddy Jake and sister Peaches. I don't mind going out there like I used to because I know my Mommy and Daddy will be back for me the next day. I also like to play with my sister Peaches. I won't sleep in the bed with them, I stay down stairs because it is closer to the front door. Aunt Pam fixes us chicken. She used to make me up a plate all my own like I have at home, but I would rather eat at the "community" plate with my family. Aunt Pam says I am like Jake, we could just eat it all up before Peaches and Puddin get there.
September 28, I am waiting for Mommy and Daddy to pick me up. At around 2 p.m. Daddy pulls into the driveway, I am soooooo excited!! I get to go home and play with my sqeaky ball and my treat ball.

On Saturday September 15, I went for my annual check up. I gained one lb. since my last visit, I'm now 8.8 lbs. A little too big for my little short stature. I have to be careful to keep my weight down so I don't hurt my little legs when jumping. But I just love to eat!!! Dr. Thompson said overall I am in perfect health. Blood work was good and I got all my needed shots, "OUCH!". I was so good in fact my Mommy fixed me my favorite dinner, "chicken breast".
Sunday was a good day I went for a ride in the truck with my Daddy, I always look forward to that on Sundays. We usually go out to his office and go to the dump.

I started feeling a little queasy on Monday morning, I had too much chicken I think. Couldn't keep any food down. Mommy went and got me some Pedialite to drink (I don't like that) and some Pepto Bismol (I don't like that either). She even took my temperature!!! I started feeling better and ate a little of the Prescription ID food Mommy got from the animal hospital, that's not too bad. Daddy and I played for a long time with my squeaky ball. Well I think I am going to bed now.
