Merry Christmas to all. This is my second Christmas so I think I know what is going on now, even though some things will be the same I know some will be different. The kids will be here and there will be lots of fun for all. I can see there will be lots of paper(hmmm) to pick up and the tree is just gorgeous. Hopefully there will be a little somthing under the tree for us four legged PEOPLE.

Well here's wishing the best to you and yours. Give thanks for all the people in our lives who make this world a better place. But remember most of all to sit and have some quiet reflections of the year past and maybe even a good belly rub.

Growing!!!!

I know I haven't been on here in a while but I have been very busy this summer. What with all the stuff the humans have been doing around here. A new barn roof, the installation of the hot tub, vacationing in the Smokies and all the camping we have done. I will be very sad in the next couple of weeks because the camping season is over. We will not be able to go anymore until next spring. Camping is my favorite, I get to run around outside all day and ride in the golf cart during the flea market weekends. I will miss all the great petting from everyone we met this summer.

I do have an update for everyone, at 14 months I weigh 132 lbs and am 34 inches tall at my hips. I still have more growing to do and will keep you all updated as time goes by.

Human?

I guess you are wondering about the new photo. Dad was downstairs working out and for some reason he didn't like me sitting on me, so when he told me to sit down, I did. It seems to make my owners laugh and then they wonder why I am sitting on the furniture, when they told me to sit down, DUH!!!!!!! I guess they mean the floor, but they don't sit there and I figured why should I. They seem to think that that may be a problem with my weight sneeking up there. I will try not to do this again but maybe they shouldn't make couches so darn comfortable and just the right height. Until next time.

New Pics 2!!!!!!!!

I changed my primary photo to include me at my new size and my human owner. I am really getting very tall. My owners remember in October wondering if I would ever reach the couch cushions. Boy have I grown sice then. I think I grow a little every day.
I have to go now they are trying to clean up all the dog hair on the kitchen floor. Maybe that is why they don't like me and Dundee to wrestle in there.

New Pics!

I added some new pics of myself that were taken today. I just wanted everyone to see how much I have grown in the last couple of months since the last pictures were taken. Fixed!!!! Part 3

I am doing much better now. I am all healed . I can't beleive that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I am now going about life pretty normally. I still am wrestling with my big brother(Dundee). I am back to eating normally(4 1/2 cups) a day. Some people think that is a lot. I am just a growing puppy, can't people get a grip. I also have a new attitude about a lot of things. I think I need a little adjustment. At least that is what the humans are saying. I guess I will being getting some intense training. They keep saying I am getting too old for some of the stuff I keep doing. I hope this won't hurt too bad. But I guess it is supposed to be for my benefit and to improve my disposition. I know I do some things that just drive the humans crazy but I thought that was just part of my charm. I must think of a way for this to benenfit everyone involved. I will let you all know what I come up with and who will win this round.

Fixed Part 2!!!!!!

I can't believe what that meant. I mean someone couldn't have warned me about this little procedure. I thought it was very odd when I woke up yesterday and no one would feed me or give me water, no matter how much I begged. Can you imagine humans going 27 hours without anything to eat or drink. I mean it was bad enough about the (operation) but to not have food or water, well that is just cruel! I didn't think I was going to make it! Then THEN they will only give me half of my regular 1 1/2 cups of food. I think this has to be the cruelest part of the whole deal. I think I will remind them today of how mean they were to me yesterday.

I know they mean well and are just doing what they think is the best for me but come on! Oh well they seem to be just as upset as me about the whole ordeal. And the surgery, well I never used that part of my body anyhow so I doubt that I will really miss it. I don't think I am sure what that was used for anyways.

So when your owners start mentioning FIXED in front of you. I will tell you that part isn't bad, but the rest is just more than a puppy can take!

I think I might need a little rest now. I also might just have to have some extra attention today. HMMMMMMM maybe this isn't going to be such a bad day. HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fixed!!!!!!

If you will remember in my last diary entry I mentioned something about getting fixed, well that is Monday. I still am not sure what this means and there really isn't anyone willing to explain it to me. My big brother Dundee keeps looking at me kind of funny anytime anyone mentions this subject. This is starting to really concern me. I will post more next week when I find out what this is all about.

New Year's

Ok. New Year's Eve is another human holiday. Aren't there any holidays for animals. I heard my owners talking about staying home because of all the weirdos out on the road. I'm not sure what that is but I don't think it sounds very good. My owners did go out but not for very long and then we heard this man on tv counting down,( I think his name was Dick Clark) when they got done counting everybody started yelling and hugging and kissing, but I will let you know that me and Dundee slept through it all. I think the humans in this world need to take a cue from their pets. It was just another day and as long as we are loved, warm and fed life couldn't be better.

P.S. I over heard them discussing something about making an appointment to get fixed. I wonder what they are talking about and who this was for. I guess I will have to update you later.
