Puffy and I have been receiving beautiful holiday cards in the mail and many have wonderful photos in them with your pretty faces on them. However, the postal service must have taken a liking to one of the cards because all they delivered was the front of an envelope, no card or anything else was delivered!
The envelope front does have the name and address of our pal so I was wondering if you think I should alert this person that the postal service stole the card.

Yes, it's that time of the year again. This year we will not be getting our pictures taken with Santa (Now there's a big loss - NOT!). Personally I like our pal Beanie's solution to this as he let it be know that he really didn't care for his picture taken and peed right before the picture was taken. It would have make a great picture had the pee stream been captured in the photo. It was a real KODAC moment! Good job Beanie!
Momma actually did the Christmas cards for this year right after last Christmas...She bought bunches of cards and even decorated some of them. Then came the move and everything was packed up in boxes and now momma can't find those cards so she had to go buy other cards and that is why they didn't have the Shih Tzu and Maltese stamped on them or other decorations on the envelopes. She was smart enough to print out aLL of the Dogster addresses that she had and put them in her NOOK carry case so she had access to them and knew where to find them easily since she carried her NOOK with her and didn't pack it up in a box - BOL, BOL. This plan worked well except that momma also packed up all of the postal stamps so she had to go buy more because she couldn't find those either - BOL, BOL.
It's not too late for those of you who might want a card from us to send us your address. Canada pals please note that your cards are in the mail but it usually takes several weeks for them to get to you :-(
Also, several of the cards were returned to us because the FOREVER stamp was not enough postage. Since when did Canada require 84 cents to send a holiday card? Oh well, each one of you are worth much more to us than 84 cents so we added the additional postage and re-sent the cards.
Also, for those pals U.S. pals who might be wondering why they have not received their cards yet, momma found about six cards in the back of her car yesterday that apparently slid down when she was going to the mail box on Saturday (we have to travel down a very bumpy, unpaved road) so you should receive them today or tomorrow. If you don't get a card paw mail us and we will send you one.
Please don't think you have to send us a card just because we send you one. We love all of our pals and this is something that we really love to do.

I have some advice to any pal who might be thinking of building a new home from the ground up - DON'T DO IT!!!! It is a lot of work, very stressful and sucks the money out of your pockets faster than a Dyson floor cleaner.
Momma and daddy have both been sick. Momma started coughing and coughing like she was going to pass a lung. She was so sick that she went to one of the Native Indian health clinics and they refused to let her see a doctor because she didn't have the required documents with her to identify who she was (social secuity card, birth certificate, etc). Momma told them that she would pay the bill before she left the clinic but the lady doing the screening refused too let let go to the next station, so she went home and coughed and coughed for almost one whole month. Now daddy is sick with the flu and he is crank like you wouldn't believe. We're all doing what we can to avoid him because he acts like a bear.
Last week something bit momma on the arm sending seering pain throught her right arm. Her arm ballooned up and turned red immediately. We don't know what bit momma as no bug was seen but her arm is still red and ichy.
The handyman who quit and then came back is once again not showing up to do what he is supposed to do. Daddy is trying to get things done but there is so much that has yet to be done before we can get the code enforcers out to sign off the house. It did snow for one or two days and then the sun came back out but the skys are once again clouding over and it is getting really cold indicating that snow is going to fall again soon. The snow isn't so bad but when it melts the dirt turns to mud which is nasty. One of the things the handyman was supposed to do was put in a concrete walkway from the garage/workshop to the house and he didn't do it so mud will be stuck on everyones shoes and paws. We did get the laundry sink hooked up so momma can give Puffy and me baths in the sink or just rinse off our paws put let me tell you going to be with wet paws is not fun when you sleep in a un-heated garage/workshop.
It's nice to have the washer and dryer hooked up and operating again because now momma doesn't have to travel one hour each way to the laundrymat. Our pal Mazy says we should have momma warm some towels up in the dryer for us and I'm going to have to ask momma to do that tonight because it sounds like a really good idea.
Momma was hoping the house would be done this month but with all of the delays and missing workers it doesn't look like it will be done until sometime NEXT year.
We miss you all and hope to be back on Dogster full time soon...

I have some really great news, the propane man came out today and connected our water heater and range to the propane line so momma is going to be able to cook in the new kitchen tomorrow! I'm so excited that we are actually going to have something tasty to eat for a change.
The plumber is also here today connecting the water line to the washer and bathroom fixtures and this makes momma happy too. She was tired of having to lug all the dirty laundry to town to wash them. Iheard momma tell daddy that Puffy and I are going to get a bath in the laundry room sink - YUCK! I guess our days of going to bed dirty are coming to an end.
Well got to go and help momma find some plates and stuff in boxes - Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
Oh yeah, before I forget, momma will be sending our our annual Christmast cards this week. Chance and Destiny we do not have your new address so would you please paw us with it? If any of our other pals have moved plaese be sure to let us have your new addrsss. For our new pals, we would be happy to send you a Christmas/Holiday card if you send us your address. For those of you who would like to send us a Christmas card, momma said she will be putting our new address on the envelope that we send your card in.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Well pups, it has come to my attention that we will not be having Turkey dinner with all the trimming this coming Thanksgiving day. The house is still in a state of construction and because of the workers neglecting to do the work as they were supposed to, we will not have a kitchen to cook in, thus, we will not be having turkey dinner.
I'm seriously considering packing my bags and heading back to California and parking my behind on Hobo's door step until I get invited in for dinner at his house.
If not getting turkey is bad enough, yesterday Puffy and I were locked in the garage/workshop building all day long while the humans traveled to IKEA in Arizona to get some stuff that they said they needed.
The snows have melted and left behind mud that gets stuck in our paws. All I can say is I AM NOT HAVING FUN!!!
Frozen hugs and kisses to all!

It snowed here in New Mexico and let me be the one to tell you that this Princess is NOT having fun! It's super cold, the snow is now melting and tuning all the dirt into mud. That nasty ole trailer that daddy bought is leaking everywhere and there isn't a dry stop to be found. It is so cold outside that the water lines to the trailer have frozen so there isn't any water. Luckily, momma thought to fill some water jugs before the snow arrived but even those are fozen. Momma told daddy that if the water lines don't thaw out by the end of the week he better be prepaired to check us into a hotel overnight so she can take a shower - BOL.
The house is coming along though. The kitchen is almost finished and is looking very nice. Daddy worked on connecting the huge island to electricity yesterday and was going to move the refridge and dishwasher over but momma asked him if he was aware that he and the applicances would SINK INTO 4" OF MUD IF HE TRIED TO MOVE THEM FROM THE GARAGE TO THE HOUSE NOW?! For once daddy listened to momma and left them in the garage for now.
The master bathroom is almost completly tiled so hopefully today daddy can finish and then do the guest bathroom which is small so it shouldn't take too long. Daddy doesn't like doing tile work and after doing the huge kitchen tile on the diagional as momma desired he really hates doing it now - LOL. The kitchen is so big that it took daddy almost one week to do the kitchen tile. Momma has been taking pictures of things but the trailer is too cold to sit in and download everything so they will have to wait until some other time.
And speaking of cold, my poor little paws are hurting so I am going to get off the computer and go warm up in the kitty/bunny room in the house because they have a heater going in there.
I hope all my pals are doing well and I miss you all!!!!
Frozen hugs and kisses,

A quick update on what is going on here in New Mexico. The Stuffie Rancho has been shut down by the FED’s who said Puffy was in violation of the trade marks. We were able to rescue one stuffie that the Papillion gang had sent for harvesting but all others were taken and are being held someplace by the FED’s pending the trial that Puffy will have to go to next year. We want to thank our Papillion gang for believing in us and want to let them know that their stuffie is being taken care of. In fact, it has had several babies and we will be sending them back to you as soon as they are old enough to travel. Coco is still chomping on the HUGE cookies that you sent (yes, she claimed both of them – BOL). I also would like to thank our good pal DFB and AZS for the beautiful Halloween card – that really made us smile.
In regards to how the New Mexico house is coming along, things are not going very well. Daddy’s handyman was supposed to have had the dry wall hung, mudded and taped before we arrived back in New Mexico. He had almost four weeks to get it all done and when daddy called him the day before we left California, the handyman had informed daddy that it was almost completed. Turns out that was incorrect as it wasn’t anywhere close to being done, plus it was done incorrectly.
The handyman ended up quitting the job and daddy had to hire some other people to come in and fix most of what was wrong and try to finish the job. The job isn’t finished but the second crew has full time jobs so they had to go back to their regular work and momma and daddy are going to have to finish everything up.
The weather here is getting cold so snow should start falling soon. It is important to get the code enforcers out here to do the final electricity and plumbing sign off before the area gets snowed in, therefore the humans are working as much as they can to get things done. As of yet, they still haven’t gotten one room completely done and since there are 13 rooms in the house counting momma’s walk-in closet, there is much more to do.
Puffy and I had to have baths yesterday because Puffy found a pile of some kind of poop and rolled in it. He was smiling when momma caught a sniff of his “new” smell and put us in the sink for bathing. He wasn’t smiling too much afterward, but then too neither was I.
Momma says that doing a project as big as building a house from the ground up is hard, tiring and should be standard grounds for divorce as working with your spouse is something only the brave should do – BOL.
We miss you all and hope everyone is doing well. Hugs and kisses,

Last night while we all slept the cows that were on the other side of the fence came into our yard and explored. They left their foot prints in the mud which showed they walked between the house and garage/workshop. They even trampled our garden out back – Bol, BOL.
I discovered that they did not come “empty-handed” as they left meadow muffins lying around and this is where things got interesting.
Puffy, momma and I were out walking around and I was lagging behind because I could smell the cows. Even more important, I could smell the meadow muffins so I ran and nabbed a hug one and as my luck would have it, momma just happened to turn around and saw me running with a huge meadow muffin that was almost a big as I am, and go under a tree to enjoy my treat,
All of a sudden, momma is shouting her head off telling me to “DROP IT”.
Of course I ignored her because how often does one get fresh meadow muffins for breakfast?
I was getting ready too eat my find but here came momma and she grabbed it from my mouth and threw it into onto the ground. She didn’t get the whole meadow muffin because when she grabbed it I managed to get a large chunk for myself and hurried and swallowed it down. When momma saw me swallowing she picked me up and opened my mouth to try to retrieve any that might still be in my mouth. Had momma not thrown the other portion away, she could have had a nice tasty treat without trying to steal what I had right out of my mouth!
I’m hoping the cows will come back and visit in our yard again because they leave tasty treats behind – BOL, BOL

We have had thunder, rain and hail today, thus making our outside potty spots soggy and undesirable. I was doing really well at “holding” it as I tried to nap on the crummy sofa in the nasty trailer until all of a sudden both Puffy and I jumped up from our spots and started barking like mad lunatics while looking out the screened door.
Not more than 100 yards away from the nasty, leaking trailer were 5 cows. See Puffy and I told the humans there was something out in the back field but NOOOOO, they wouldn’t believe us. Two of the cows stopped along the fence line and stared at us so momma opened the screened door and let us out and we went running to the cows but they got scared and ran off. You should have seen Puffy, that little tyke wasn’t afraid of anything and wanted to chase off after them – BOL, BOL. He was mumbling something about wanting to get bully sticks for us but from what I saw the cows were female so Puffy will have his work cut out for him – BOL, BOL.
After our hard guarding work momma carried Puffy back into the trailer and washed his feet off in the sink and then she did the same thing with me. She said something about we better get used to that because she isn’t going to have dogs with muddy feed sleeping in bed with her.
I think Puffy and I deserve a bunch of cookies for telling momma that there were intruders lurking near by, don’t you?
Hugs and kisses,

We are still living in the garage/workshop on our property because the house is not finished therefore it hasn’t been signed off with the code enforcer. It’s not so bad because we do have a queen sized bed in there and the plumber installed a potty for the humans so it is workable.
Today we had six people at the house working on the dry walling but since the house is so big there remains more work needed. Daddy was trying to “help” and cut one of the overhead water lines that the plumber had installed so now the plumber will have to come back out and fix it before the dry walling of the laundry room ceiling can be completed.
We got a good rain this afternoon and although it was nice now we have to walk in mud so that means momma will be washing our paws in the sink in the trailer each time we go outside. The handy man who is helping daddy told him that this is probably the last rain of the season and next we will be getting snow.
We haven’t seen too many local critters on our property but we do sit at the trailer door and bark at the property behind ours. I tell you there is something out there but the humans refuse to believe me and keep telling Puffy and me to “shut up.” I thought I was supposed to alert them to things outside. How would they like it if there were a bear outside our door and I ignored it instead of telling them about it?
Hugs and kisses,
