It finally happened, daddy caught a mouse in the laundry room and we didn't even get to sniff it. Daddy left it in the mouse trap and told momma it was dead so she told him to go take it out and dispose of it. What I don't understand is why we have TWO cats in the house and yet the humans had to resort to buying mouse traps to get rid of the mouse. I think if the cats aren't going to catch mice then they should go find another home to live in - don't you agree?
Hugs and kisses,
Da kitties can come here, I never get enough kitties!
And I woulda been trying to get dat mouse.
Not even a sniff! My momma does the exact same thing when she catches a mouse. I think the kitties need to resign as they are not good mousers!
Gud gwief, Coco Wose!! Yur kitties must be de-bek-tibe or sumfing! Yu an' Puff, if gibben a chance, wooda founded dat lil' bermin, I jus' kno' it :D
I've found mice outside, but what do you expect? All dogs know that cats are useless creatures, but I don't mind them hanging around because I don't think pets should have to work for their keep anyway.
We had one in our house too not that long ago. We have outside cats who didn't catch it, inside cats who didn't catch it but, then again two of the inside have no teeth...and Grandma has Cairn Terriers they are bred to catch rats and such...they didn't catch him until a month after he had lived here. Mom set out traps and he would steal the bait and run...even on the sticky traps where you could see his foot prints on the trap but, not him. Mom was glad when he was caught.
Did ya hear about the peppermint oil on cotton balls for mice. They are allergic to it and will move out! We're going to try it. I've chased and killed mice outside. Never caught one on main floor of house. I don't go to the basement. Creepy old place........
hugs and kisses,mazy
