Well snow chains #4 don't fit the tires either. They are too small and won't allow daddy to connect the two ends together. After struggling for a bit, he came back in the house and asked momma if she wanted to to to Grants. Momma knew the snow chains didn't fit because she watched daddy from one of the windows and saw what was happening.

She asked daddy why they needed to go to Grants and all daddy said was he wanted to get some electrical floor heater because the Propane company didn't not fill our tank like they were supposed to on Tuesday (they said they would come out today instead). But since the temperatures have been hoovering around -7 degrees when the sun goes down and there is supposed to be rain tonight and tomorrow followed by more snow he was worried that we would get too cold if he couldn't run the furnace that operates with propane.

Momma knew he was also going to see about getting different snow chains as we can't live on the mountain without them, but refrained from saying anything about them.

So off to Grants they went and Puffy and I were left to guard the house.

The good news is that the propane guy did show up and filled the tank and daddy did buy snow chains #5. Momma asked him if he was going to try them on the truck BEFORE he left the store and he said "NO".

So as of yet, we still don't know if these snow chains will work. It's not like daddy has special tires on the truck as they are the ones that came on it when he bought it. Maybe daddy isn't putting the chains on right...who knows but anyhow, please keep your paws crossed that these one work - okay?

You have a LOT to deal with! All I do is just go with my Mom and just do Red Dog things! Hope the new chains fit and you are OK on the mountain!

Maybe with all those chains he can put sum o' them together to make the right length. BOL!

Mom is debating getting chains for her Jeep cause she wants to take me to the snow. Now Mom will ask someone what chains to buy for the Jeep cause, well she is a lady and they tend to ask for help more. Now she won't need help putting them on thankfully though cause Grandpa and Grandma taught her how to do that. They told her to lay them in front of the tires and then move the car forward over them so she could latch them with ease.

We are hoping these chains work for your Daddy.

Hopin' dese chainses work... but like you, I's wonderin' if he's puttin' 'em on right....

Guess it's outta da question for him to get da garage guyses to show him how to put dem on....

The blizzard is here.... sure hope the new ones work. your heater keeps you warm and toasty. Puff was suppose to keep the storm away. Prayers for you...Daddy has terrier and doxie.... we are stubborn.
