Hi pals,

We have had thunder, rain and hail today, thus making our outside potty spots soggy and undesirable. I was doing really well at “holding” it as I tried to nap on the crummy sofa in the nasty trailer until all of a sudden both Puffy and I jumped up from our spots and started barking like mad lunatics while looking out the screened door.

Not more than 100 yards away from the nasty, leaking trailer were 5 cows. See Puffy and I told the humans there was something out in the back field but NOOOOO, they wouldn’t believe us. Two of the cows stopped along the fence line and stared at us so momma opened the screened door and let us out and we went running to the cows but they got scared and ran off. You should have seen Puffy, that little tyke wasn’t afraid of anything and wanted to chase off after them – BOL, BOL. He was mumbling something about wanting to get bully sticks for us but from what I saw the cows were female so Puffy will have his work cut out for him – BOL, BOL.

After our hard guarding work momma carried Puffy back into the trailer and washed his feet off in the sink and then she did the same thing with me. She said something about we better get used to that because she isn’t going to have dogs with muddy feed sleeping in bed with her.

I think Puffy and I deserve a bunch of cookies for telling momma that there were intruders lurking near by, don’t you?

Maybe there are others where those cows came from.

Cows? I have never seen a cow before. You are one lucky pup. You get to see all kinds of creatures. I hope you get everything settled soon. I miss you.

MOOO>> COCO .. COWS ... AND ELK .. AND DEER .. wows ! you have all kinds of critters where you lives.. my mommy says she would never be able to sleep worrying about what is outside ! Sounds like you will be in your new home before to much longer . Praying the really cold weather holds off !

I saw cows once! Mummy and me were driving down a small road here in Ireland when we came across loads of cows being herded across the road, naturally I barked and barked and barked to tell Mummy to make sure the handbrake was on and the gears were in neutral. She shouted back very loudly for some reason...
