Arrival Story:
Thelma came from a pet store called Pet and Jungle. She was picked because she came out of her cage to greet everyone. It was a choice between Thelma and her brother. BEEGO!

Bio:
Thelma had to have 10 of her teeth pulled out because they were rotten at one point in time, after that her teeth had to be brushed regularly. I remember one Easter when my brother and I were little and had Easter baskets filled with candy the Easter Beagle paid us a visit. My mother would pass by our baskets (Which were on the floor so we could reach them) and remark, "Guys why are you eating all your candy so quickly, I've told you not to eat that much!" and my Brother and I would say "Thelma did it we saw her!" and eventually we caught Thelma in the act, unwrapping Hershey's Kisses with her teeth and eating the forbidden fruit. Thelma also had a habit of playing with our lovebird Kiwi and she had a blast doing it for many, many years. She was a wonderful dog...WE MISS YOU THELMA! Many of our friends and family call our recent dog 'Truman', 'Thelma' because the name's almost sound the same.

It wasn't easy to make this web-page for Thelma, I thought about it for a long time. This page is dedicated to the life and times of Thelma Bittle the amazing little dog that meant so much to everyone. She had a wonderful at times sassy personality. We all thought she resembled Snoopy. Thelma was very intelligent and loving. Everyone who knew her loved her unconditionally. Unfortunately Phanto, Truman and Grace never got the chance to meet Thelma. Our family remembers all the holidays filled with Thelma's antics. She was once kidnapped, an event that bewildered us all. She had a wonderful life and we miss her all the time. When we flip through photo albums we remember what a wonderful spirit she had (and still has somewhere out there). I'd like to believe she's in a better place out of the pain of an injured disc that took her life. This is to you Thelma wherever you are. I didn't know you very long but you made a HUGE impression on me, you are the reason why I love animals today. WE ALL MISS YOU
