Arrival Story:
Dusty was a beautiful pup, bred for show, but too small and so sold as a pet. Unfortunately...he was not sold to a home that understands Aussies, and was actually kennel crazed at about 6 months old. He was rescued by my friend's Kristen and Ross from this fate and within a few months, he was mine.
Bio:
This is a herding dog of no small instinctual need. He HAS to herd. He likes to herd me on the 4-wheeler while I drag my riding arena or empty the manure wagon. And his "herd" appears to be anything in a small circle around me. If you are out of it, he will warn you fersouciously to keep away. It is a source of constant annoyance and yet, he cannot help who he is.
