Sparkle Says...

Happy New Year Dogsters!!

Poor Patches, she's too small to understand. Me, I'm bigger, and I've been around in this human's world a lot longer, so I know what's up (even if I pretend not to care most of the time.)

I did my best to keep mom awake last night, getting her up every couple of hours to go out, (of course little P. had to tag along every time, though she had NO IDEA why we were going out so many times in the nighttime. She did join in the chorus at midnight though and welcomed the new year with some nice loud barking to go with the firecrackers and ??? that were ringing it in outside). Mom just opened an eye and looked confused. *sigh* Maybe next year we'll manage to keep her awake to say goodbye to the old and hello to the new.
