Why do dogs like to pick fights with me?

Rusty picked a fight with me when I walked past the food. I don't like to fight so I tried to tell him it was okay, he wins, but he kept attacking me. When dogs attack me they usually can't get through my fur so I just lay down, but Rusty just kept coming and I had to defend myself. Even though I bit him, he kept coming back, until my skin brothers pulled us apart. Then I told him I was mad but he snapped at me again. Just as well, he got his. Mommy and my skinsibs wouldn't let him have an afternoon treat and they hugged me up and ignored him. This morning he's been sucking up to me big time. Haha! I forgave him because I'm not good at being mad at people.

Big Brown Begging Eyes

Mommy thought she should let everyone know that although I'm a big boy and can get things by brute force, I'm much better at begging. She says she can ignore me pushing my way into things, but she can't figure out how to get around my begging eyes. I'm looking for a way to practice the "I'm gonna cry any minute if I don't get a piece" look. Mommy says she can't be moved but she gives me nice low fat chicken breast treats anyway.
